@@someprojects0 she loved cloudy it was sad but im with star just my opinion i wish she hadn said she hated magic. rather that its doing more harm then good.
@@thedoglovinggamer5825 “Genocide”. Let’s see, she killed 3 people total. 2 of which were villains, and 1 of which was more mature than the other 2, and was willing to sacrifice herself. As confirmed by the creator, she only destroyed Mewman magic (This is why ponyhead can still fly and why Tom still has his magic.). The only other people she killed were the spells that lived inside her wand, who weren’t really people anyway, they were more like robots with personalities who all served one purpose that they universally agreed upon enjoying to do. Besides, what Mina was doing was a far worse and REAL form of genocide. That’s not to say that the finale was good, it was still terrible. Mina just walking away instead of being killed off (which would’ve been so satisfying because she was definitely a villain that audience wants to see dead), the poor pacing, Star and Marco getting together not being executed properly (as much as I ship them), the choice to just end the show with the worlds colliding and not expanding upon that was pretty lame too. Plus, it comes off that Star commits genocide ‘cause it wasn’t conveyed right to the audience. (If the finale was an hour, like most other Disney Channel finales, it probably would’ve been able to establish this better). It makes it better once you learn the intention though.
What I really dislike isn't destroying the magic, cause it was later shown that basically magic rebooted itself again. I'm moreso angry that they build up to a sad ending with them staying separated just to do a reverse at basically last minute. Kinda made it feel like it was playing it...safe? Again, not a bad ending, just disapointing
just saying if star hadnt destroyed the magic mina was going to do a genocide either way except mina would kill humans and monsters with feelings rather than spells or creatures programmed.
@@mikethedemon2456 True, but I’m talking about how the writers really made this decision and said “This is the one.” The writers were willing to give Star an attack that can erase an entire universe but weren’t willing to give the show a build up that didn’t lead to the main character committing genocide?
@@mikethedemon2456Mina never wanted universal genocide, only the ones on Mewni. Yes its terrible but committing genocide to stop a genocide isn’t any btter
It's sad how Star killed off her adorable spells like Cloudy and that baby narwhal that has butterfly wings.
Yea, this decision must have been terribly difficult for her 😔

Girl literally made a genocide so people couldnt Oppress others whit magic,so now they have to oppress them whit rocks and sticks, yippee!
Why do people hate this finale again?, I think it's beautiful, this is like a nice summary of it, thanks for this

@@TheRealCCall She destroyed all magic which killed off every being that relied on magic to live.

I mean to be fair, Mina would’ve killed a lot more people if Star hadn’t destroyed the magic, so..

If they were going this route should have just kept toffee, throw in some evil Marco, and call it a day.
She didn’t? Like.. what? Can someone explain?
