Interesting subject matter for a model railroad there, don'tcha think ? Some street running adjacent to a boatyard & the sidings for their customers ? It would make for a decent looking switching type of layout, eh ? 😎
Looks like they could use some Roundup on part of their trackage! I wonder how often they have accidents along those restaurants? Wow - close quarters!
they had accidents at the grade crossings, but i dont think anywhere near the restaurants. as for the weeds, they cannot find a weed sprayer who is available this past summer, because all were busy on the class one roads. many shortlines are in the same situation.
Wife and I may have to frequent one of those restaurants!

When does Grand River typically operate? Any recommended railfanning locations?
3 days a week they are working but it doesn't mean that they are running they run the most during the summer to get ready for the winter and the line is only 2 miles so you should just chase it
Also, do you know their radio frequency?
