First daylight train I have been able to catch in a week, due to high temp, I guess. They have been running them through this part of the Lampasas Sub (Lometa to Temple Yard) at night, starting about 9 pm.
How can you tell? How do you know it's U-PANPTN ? I'm not connected to BNSF train system, all I have is a radio tuned to 160.935 and the dispatcher identifies the train by the numbers on the lead locomotive. Is there some kind of text you can get or email that would give the schedule for the day?
@LonghornRailfan Coal Trains Don't Use Those GATX Hoppers, and I've seen them multiple times. Coal Trains Use those TGNX or FPPX Hoppers and usually have power on the Rear.
