I mean this in the nicest way possible, your hamster friend requires way mpre bedding than this to be comfortable- and for borrowing into, they enjoy digging deep holes 🕳 . Tysm for your well detailed video.
I am a big fan of hamsters. I currently have a female long-haired Syrian hamster living with me. But our shelving is simpler, though also large, the area of our shelving is 65x105 cm, it resembles an ordinary box, wich is upholstered on the inside with plastic and it has a plexiglass false bottom
We got Detolf. The urine and smell seeps into wood which does come out with water and vinegar cleaning and our hammy was chewing up the wood creating a hole.
We didn’t really like it, so we bought a Detolf. If it’s for a hamster, I suggest researching the company because quality of wood will be different. The platforms are not safe for hamsters so we removed them. I hope my suggestions helped.
I wouldn’t recommend this enclosure. I’d rather get a bin cage that has the proper size and space to add enough bedding for a hamster and it’s like 10x cheaper.
@@rzlz2541 Yeah it may be 100x50 but you can't fit enough bedding unless you want to cover up one of the floors. Hamsters need 6inches of bedding but preferably more. This enclosure is around $100 when you can get a good sized tank for cheaper and its better for your hamster.
Honestly, I'm happy with my Skyline marrakesh XD Pawhut tried, like very brand, but always misses what a hamster really needs: Space and Bedding depht, not levels. And, above all, less wood pieces D: Imagine if someone bought it for gerbils LMAO It's not so hard to check what the hamster community wants. I mean, youtube is full of channels that treats this topic pretty well! (I learned a lot from them and my hammy is happy!) But, i do like its shape! I really do :D And you fixed it so nicely!
You can choose not to put in the shelves. I got the rectangle one and I didn’t use the shelves. That way I got the space the hamster needs at being above the 100 x 50 (cms) minimum as it’s 115 x 55 x 57 (cms). I got the 8inches of bedding on one side and 10 inches on the other. It’s surprisingly handy for hamsters, and if you have enough chew toys in the enclosure they should be chewing on them more than the enclosure but I find hamsters will chew on the wooden parts of the enclosure that is quite pointless in being there and leads to nowhere but even more wood they can’t grip onto to chew. I say this while your comment is a year ago but ya knooow.

We don’t use this anymore.
You have a very beautiful hamster, I would like to see videos about Bosco more often

Simple is always the best.
I'd keep the first level and put the wheel up there and fill the bottom level with digging substrate upto first level

Wow, nice 🐹❤️👍
