My mother made me go forward and after I did I had no idea what it was. I thought I was a Christian and well on my way to Hell. Many years later I stayed home one Sunday, I heard the same message as many times before for the first time I heard it in my heart. The Holy Spirit gave me faith to believe and I asked Jesus in and was made a new person in Jesus and my thoughts and ideas were different than before I was a new person. I was born again thank you Jesus for calling my name to Salvation in you! My mother did the same thing she made me do. Years later just days before she died she said something that made me ask if she was born again she had no idea what it meant so I asked are you a Christian she said she had always been one. Well she suffers the second death after the Holy Spirit left her.

To be born again, you must keep the laws as Jesus himself said " Why callest thou me good, there is none good but one that is God and thou shalt enter into life keep the commandments" Matthew 19:16
The laws consist of more than just the ten. If you are a follower of Christ you must watch your attire, what you eat, keep biblical holidays such as Passover, Feast of Dedication, Purim, New Moons and seventh day sabbath ( Daniel said the rulers of this world have changed the times the real sabbath is on Saturday and New Year is in Spring)

For me I want/need to be born again from since last year August I did not had the opportunity. I have so much we emotional scars that are destructively negative and harmful to me; sometimes I feel like I'm losing my mind and way but still I cleave to God hoping for a transformation for him to save me from sin. And though I'm going through these problems I find a satisfaction in helping others find their way even though I'm struggling, that was hard for me to say. God Bless ur channel

Dear Sister,
Simply ask Jesus Christ to come in to your life. Ask Him to forgive your sins as He will do it at that moment you ask/receive Him in your life as Savior. That's it and that's all it takes to be saved and born again. Jesus will give you a supernatural peace and everlasting life which can never be lost or taken away. It's yours and it's free. Please remember this: it's all by grace that we are saved and it's never ever anything we can do do to receive salvation.
It's all about what Jesus Christ did for us and it's not what we can do for ourselves because we are flawed and can do nothing worthy of Heaven. Ask Christ to save you and He will do it. God bless you.

IT IS (ALL) IMPORTANT.
We absolutely must have God dwelling in us: that is the only way we can be led into the truth, led out of slavery to sin and led into His righteousness. But that is NOT actually what Jesus was talking about when He said we must be "born again" or "born of the spirit." Jesus gave Nicodemus an illustration of what it's like to be born of the spirit:
"The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit" (John 3:8).
No one who claims to be born again or born of the spirit is like the wind. They are not invisible, nor are they able to move around without being seen. Can you do that? Of course not. Neither can I.
*_But Jesus could do that after His resurrection. He could appear and disappear at will._* Remember how He suddenly appeared in the midst of the disciples, and also disappeared? Upon His resurrection Jesus was spirit; He was born of the spirit, and was immortal.
The apostle Paul described Jesus as the "firstfruits." Jesus was the first to be "born of the spirit," to go from flesh to spirit, to go from mortal life to immortal spirit life. Those who are Christ's will also be born of the spirit, and become immortal. When? The apostle Paul explained:
"But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming" (1 Cor 15:23).
In 1 Thessalonians Paul described the resurrection of the "dead in Christ" at Jesus' coming, His return:
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first" (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
Read Paul's very clear description of the death and resurrection of the elect:
"So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
*_It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body"_* (1 Corinthians 15:42-44).
When we die our natural mortal body, "born of the flesh," is "sown" or planted back into the ground, the grave. At Jesus' return His elect will be "born of the spirit." The elect who have died will be resurrected with an immortal, spiritual body, just as Jesus - the "firstfruits" - was resurrected.
Jesus explained to Nicodemus, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6). In other words, they are two different things. *_You can't be both at the same time._*
Jesus has not returned yet. His elect have not yet been resurrected immortal. So as of now Jesus is the only man to have become spirit, born of the spirit and immortal. The "dead in Christ" are waiting for their resurrection at Jesus' return. That's when they too will be "born of the spirit" and immortal.
Don't get me wrong: I am not saying we don't need or don't have or can't have God's spirit *_dwelling in us_* while we are mortals. We absolutely must have God dwelling in us: that is the only way we can be led into the truth, and led out of slavery to sin and led into His righteousness.
What I'm saying is that the real meaning of being "born again" or "born of the spirit" has to do with actually receiving, at the return of Christ, the "spiritual body" Paul wrote about. *_Not until then will we be like this:_*
"The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit" (John 3:8).

Just a side note about this: we *_cannot see or enter or inherit the Kingdom as mortals;_* we must first receive an immortal spirit body at our resurrection at Jesus' return. Both Paul and Jesus explained this. Here's Paul; in this passage the "trumpet" that sounds announces the return of Christ and "sleep" refers to being dead, in the grave:
"Now this I say, brethren, that *_flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption._*
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory" (1 Cor 15:50-54).
And here's Jesus saying we can't enter the kingdom unless we're born of the spirit:
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, *_he cannot enter into the kingdom of God"_* (John 3:5).
Paul said we can't inherit the kingdom as mortals; we must first receive an immortal, spirit body. Jesus said we can't see or enter the kingdom unless we're born of the spirit. When Jesus spoke of being "born of the spirit," He was talking about receiving an immortal, spirit body. As Paul explained, we receive our "spiritual body" when Jesus returns.

John wrote in 1 John 5:18:
"We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not."
Has anyone that _believes_ they're "born of God" or "born again" stopped sinning? No: they're not born of God yet. In this mortal life we - if we are Christ's - are _begotten_ of God: we have God's spirit in us, leading us out of slavery to sin, leading us into truth and teaching us His righteousness.

Three times in the book of Acts it is recorded that believers recieved the Holy Spirit. In all three instances they immediately began speaking in " tongues". "Tongues", in the original Koine Greek that the N.T. was written in, means "another language" an " a language" both singular. One spiritual language. The first evidence that a believer has recieved the Holy Spirit is that they speak in one spiritual language.
Can anyone stand before Jesus on that great day and say to Him that they saw no evidence in His Word that when a believer recieved the Holy Spirit that they spoke in "tongues ?
Question for you, you say that one needs to be born again and that everyone that is born again is going to Heaven so where does this leave ones like Able Isaac Noah Abraham and so on that weren't born again,where will they be. And if you are ALL going to Heaven what will you be doing there.please explain from the scriptures. I look forward to your reply.
People like Abraham, Job, Noah, David etc were not necessarily born again but they were righteous in the eyes of God because of their faith in Him. Their faith in God was credited as righteousness. They also revered God (Loved Him) and were obedient. The book of Romans talks about Abrahams righteousness and the book of Job shows where God Himself refers to Job as being righteous. I hope that clears it up for you 🙂
TO BE BORN AGAIN IS TO REALIZE GOD HAS ALREADY FORGIVEN ALL YOUR SINS AND TO BEGIN ENJOYING A LIFE OF DOING GOOD!
According to Jesus, God loves everyone unconditionally and forgives us of ALL our sins. Salvation is what happens when any one of us REALIZES (the real meaning of the word "believe" from the original Greek word PISTIS) this truth.
It's NOT that God is waiting on us to do something in order to prompt Him to begin loving us or to forgive us at that moment. No! He ALREADY loves us ALL unconditionally and has ALREADY forgiven us of ALL sins.
The only problem is if a person has not yet REALIZED it! However, once you do realize God loves you and has already forgiven you of all sins, even if you have committed a LOT of sins, it's never too late to begin EXPERIENCING His love and forgiveness.
Of course, it's not just being forgiven of the hurtful things you did to others in the past, but also realizing God will help you stop hurting others going forward! You'll also realize what a sad and miserable life it is to go around hurting others, even if you were so delusional as to think it was benefitting you somehow! On the day you truly believe, you awaken to the reality that leading a life of hurting others, not only hurts others, but you yourself also, within!
So, of course, you don't want to be miserable anymore but, with God's help, you begin leading a life of helping others and doing what you can to help those in need or who are suffering!
This transformation is so dramatic, Jesus compared it to being born again!
By the way, "salvation" is not about what happens to you after death. It's NOT about WHERE your soul goes! Once you begin the new life with God and walking in His goodness, you're fine wherever you go!
It's all about what happens to you in the here and now! Once you are born again, you are ALREADY in the "Kingdom of God," in your heart!

This is a necessary message as the "New Birth" is a prerequisite in order to be considered a regenerate of Yahweh or a christian. Unfortunately most professing christian have what James 2:19 refers to as having only a "Form" of Godliness". They are false christian who have been deceived into believing that their names are written in the "Lambs Book of Life!"
However, what I'd like know is, why does this pastor and soooo many others, practice a tithing law that is clearly unscriptural for New Covenant disciples of Yeshua?

The Bible says over and over again to be saved one must simply believe in the finished work of Christ. This pastor is basically saying you need to look at your own life to determine whether you are saved throughout this entire sermon. Not true.
Do you believe Jesus died for your sins? Yes or no? Its that simple. Anything further is adding works to the Gospel.

You keep believing what you just said you are going to burst hell wide open. You must be Born again. Why do you think the Bible teaches old things are pass away and all things become new. You can’t live with the devil your whole life and expect to go to Heaven. There must be a change in you. Anyone can say they believe, but being Born again is evidence that you truly believe in Jesus. @@donaldcyprian2510 yes and being born again has absolutely nothing to do with proof, evidence, or a lifestyle it is trusting in the perfect obedience of Christ not in your own righteousness. Just like a baby, can't earn their way into this world during natural birth no more can you earn you way to heaven with what you do or don't do.
@Hale Hafa if faith was a principle of action than it can be validated by man, which inadvertently makes US the judge of righteousness. But the Bible teaches that only GOD can see a man's heart and knows if their faith is real or not. It is the perfect universal just equalizer. The object of our faith is not actions but instead Christ. For example take the thief on the cross... he is on trial for sin hence the label 'thief' and he simply has a conversation with Christ asking Him to "remember me in heaven". The implications of the request infer that the thief believes that Jesus will #1 go to heaven like he has been proclaiming and #2 has the ability to save ppl.. which both mean the thief has placed faith in the son of God, which is all that is needed for salvation. Did this proclamation come with a "changed lifestyle"?? 🤔 Did he stop stealing and clean up his life.? 🤔 Was their any outward actions validating his faith??? 🤔 Did Jesus say "well I can save you once I see you are genuine in your faith by your actions"???? What actions could the thief do anyways, he was stuck on a stick 🤷🏽♀️🙄

Pastor Jenkins did ok... But No Calvinism did a much better job in his break down of the solid meat of the Word of God. And also what is interesting is that, how can one preach a message on being born-again and never preach repentance. Because Jesus, John the Baptist and Peter preached repentance.
The original word for Repent in Greek is Metanoeo(G3340) which means to change one's mind for better, heartily to amend with abhorrence of past sins. Repentance involves a turning with contrition from sin to God;
I will give just a few scriptures on repentance.
Mat 4:17 says, from that time on Jesus began to preach, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.
Mat. 3:1-2 says, In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
And Peter also preached that powerful message under the anointing of the Holy Ghost when the church was birth in the Books of Acts when he said in Acts 2:38, REPENT and let every one of you be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Luke 24: 46-47 says, then Jesus said to them, thus it is written and thus it is necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead third day, and that REPENTANCE and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
So yes, he was right when he said we must be born-again. But he has to preach repentance with that message also.
Jesus did not say everyone must be born again. He said it to people who were living in a world that was about to end in his time.
In fact Jesus came at a time when the world was at the brink of ending.
You can see it in these verses.
Hebrews 9:26
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the END OF THE WORLD hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
and even from what John says.
Matthew 3:10
And now also the AXE IS ALREADY LAID unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
All these therefore spoke about the world Jesus came to at that time. The world where the old covenant existed.
So when you hear John telling you not to love the world, it’s not this world. It’s about the old covenant world. It was about a world who was in its final hour.
1 John 2:17-18
And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. Children, it is the LAST HOUR, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.
It saddens me to see ignorant and arrogant Christians accusing us to not being able to understand English or tenses.
When Paul said this.
1 Corinthians 7:31
and those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it. For the present form of this world IS PASSING AWAY.
He was speaking to the audience of his day.
Note this is what he said in context.

As such the generation of Jesus ended in AD70. Since then the world was recreated through the body of Jesus and Israel was reborn.
It became no longer exclusively Jewish. It became neither Jew or Gentile, free or slave, male or female. It became an Israel raised by God in Christ.
That’s what “born again” really means. You and I are now living in a world which is not the one in the Bible. We are living in the new heaven and earth.
Acts 2:38 is what Jesus meant about being born again, and 39 and 40 either Peter was doing what Jesus said or he was a liar.

What??! Then what's the point of being baptized??! It's impossible to be saved first and then be baptized, that's impossible and backwards. Like u really said "Jesus wasn't talking about being baptized, he's talking about being physically born". We're already born so why would he even say that? And if that's the case, then again, why are we baptizing? It defeats the WHOLE entire purpose of it. If Jesus wasn't talking about being baptized then who gave the mandate for baptism in the first place???! I'll tell u this though, Jesus gave Peter the instructions and Peter said in Acts 2:38, REPENT and be baptized every one of u, (and that is being born of the water.) And being born of the spirit is being filled with the precious gift of the holy ghost. If u don't tell people about the holy ghost and wat it is and how they need it, then the day of Pentecost would've been meaningless. He mentioned nothing about speaking in tongues. If speaking tongues isn't mentioned at all in being "born again" then wat is speaking in tongues as mentioned in the bible then? It is the evidence of the filling of the holy ghost. Yes, u gotta believe in God and receive him, especially in order to receive the baptism and the holy ghost, but JUST believing isn't enough, otherwise Jesus wouldn't have sent the comforter which is the holy ghost. Acts chapter 2 says that there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire. Then it says they were all filled with the holy ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance. This is the word and u twisted it around. No, this isn't biblical truth because that's not wat the bible said.
Although on some level i agree with a lot of what is taught and on some level I need to study further. My verdict is out, but in your comments of baptism from Acts 2:38 you wrote in brackets and yourself twisted the word of God by doing so adding in "(...being born of the water)...where the Bible states .....be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ... and not of the water as you state.
So therefore I add the following for your reading and understanding of the word baptism, baptizo, baptisma, as it would be in Greek. Once understanding this a clearer part of the picture of the full message of what Baptism is can be made.
As we discover that the Greek words bapto and baptizo do have a meaning that was well known, we need to begin to break the language barrier and see this matter from the perspective of the Greek-speaker and Greek-writer. F.H. Chase explains this point:
In English we translate the Greek word baptizein. When we use the word “baptize” we think at once and we think only of the religious rite. Apart from that rite the word has no meaning for us. It is simply and solely a religious technical term. But the Aramaic Christian when he used the Aramaic word, and the Greek Christian when he used the Greek word, would never in this particular application of the term lose sight of its primary and proper signification “to immerse,” “to plunge in or into” (“The Lord’s Command to Baptize,” The Journal of Theological Studies, July, 1905, p. 503).
Chase then asks us to think of how the Greek baptizo was translated in the early versions of Scripture:
In their versions of the New Testament the Syriac and the Egyptian Christians translated the word baptizein. Latin-speaking Christians, though like ourselves they commonly transliterated it (baptizare), yet sometimes . . . used as its equivalent the Latin verb tingere. What if we dare to follow their example and, instead of transliterating it, venture to translate it-Baptizontes autous eis to onoma, “immersing them into the Name”? So surely a Greek-speaking Christian would understand the words. He would regard the divine Name as the element, so to speak, into which the baptized is plunged. Thus the outward rite is seen to be an immediate parable of a great spiritual reality (Ibid.).
Therefore, we must cross the language barrier and seek to understand the word “baptize” as the Greek-speaker would understand baptizo. Our examination of standard Greek dictionaries reveals that there is no mystery about the meaning of the Greek terms baptizo and baptisma even though there may be denominational objections to this practice today.
I will end with this water or not, to criticize another is to Judge, and by your understanding of the word from what I read you would be better to teach what you know to the unbeliever than to pull down the believer. Let God Judge him and us when the time comes.
+Tekuramea oh no, I said two things. 1. Acts 2:38 as u just stated. 2. Then I used the other scripture in the book of John where Jesus told Nicademus, except a man be born of the water or the spirit he can't even see the kingdom of heaven. So, my main point is we have these two scriptures that need not be misinterpreted. We have to be born of the water, which is going down in the water in the name of Jesus and being "plunged" or "immersed". And then being born of the spirit? Well wat else is there? ok this is not biblical....when you trust Jesus as your savior, ie believe the Gospel according to the bible then you HAVE been born again. Being born again has nothing to do with an acquisition of a deeper relationship with God. Believing on Christ IS the regeneration. It's a 1 time supernatural event that has nothing to do with yoir lifestyle or performance or spiritual resume. You are either saved or unsaved, spiritually unborn or spiritually born again, there isn't a saved crowd and then a saved plus born again crowd. And that experience is between you and God, not a church or walking to the aisle because the pastor called you to 😒 Whenever you hear and understand the gospel account of Jesus (son of God, paid for your sins, resurrected etc) and you TRUST that it is enough to get you heaven whenever THAT trust is genuine 🎉 BOOM you just got born again or saved. That can happen anywhere at anytime.
He gives the scripture and preaches you must be born again how is that not Biblical?
John 3:3 : "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
