Splendid exposition of the Greek text by Pastor Wesley! We Christians are born ‘anothen’ by the will of God. Wesley affirms this foundational truth at 40:43. As I can’t control the wind, I can’t control whom God wants to save, so I praise God for choosing to save me and giving me new life! He’s worthy!
On last Friday while taking the train headed to downtown Philadelphia I began to read my Bible via my phone and my desire was to read the Book of John. So this particular day I began to read John Chapter 3. So when I heard Pastor Wesley give scripture I began to get excited, eager to hear what the Holy Spirit had given to Him during his reading. Take note that I have heard this passage of scripture preached before but not quite like this. Even in my own reading, I only understood the surface of when Jesus talked about being Born Again but nothing compared to where Pastor Wesley went. And I can honestly say, He taught Bible. This Man of God is truly Anointed and Gifted beyond measure. The way He broke down the words Born Again and what it means was amazing to me. To know and to experience God's (Anothon) second, third, fourth and so on chances makes me APPRECIATES God love and His belief in me to know I can do it even the more and He is so right. (I can only speak for myself) that because of God's belief in me, it makes me want to do better. (A New) Not to gain or receive anything but I too just want to please Him. (God) And just to know this is something I can't control but its something I need to make it everyday.(Jesus that is) I can't see, touch, or measure God but I know He exist because I can FEEL Him inside of me. I'm so grateful I read John 3 and then to hear Pastor Welsey preach on it makes me only believe God wanted me to have more of a deeper understanding of that passage of scripture. I am Born Again and Thank You Lord for using Pastor Wesley yet again to give me a better understanding of what being Born Again truly means. Pastor Wesley thank you again for allowing the Spirit to speak through you. May Heaven continue to Smile upon you and yours. Bless you Sir.

This message hit home between 31:30 and 33:30. We are born anew when we realise that what we've been doing hurts God and this prompts us to change, surrendering and depending completely on the Holy Spirit. To God be the glory.
This is far and away one of the best explanations and breakdowns of "born again" I've ever heard!! God Bless you Pastor Wesley for helping me understand in a very real sense, shoop that I can explain to someone else in a real sense what it means to be Born: again, anew, and from above!!!
Thanks pastor i was trying to church leader who is not born again and yet he preaches i was touched by his infort hence needed to let him know that he can not enter heaven only if he is" A BORN AGAIN" John 3:3 but instead he mocked me, I thought maybe my approach was wrong but after listening to this sermon i was almost in right track may God bless you

My heart breaks to see and hear so many pastors, preachers and the mass of people putting their trust on men, the churches, for their salvation instead of going to the Word alone after hearing and reading it. Of course the letter of the Word in scriptures is truth but only the Holy Spirit that enters and resides in you can convict you personally without a doubt and assurance you have been redeemed and born again from above in His Spirit. Certainly not coming from any man, churches!!!

I Love Pastor Wesley, and his teachings. Hes my youtube pastor. but I had a issue with that Wordly Music also. Because once I got saved, I didnt want to do the things I use to do, so I like rap music, and music of the world, I only like Christian Contemporary Gospel music, because its too much cursing in wordly music, and if you keep listening too it, you are going to start shaking your hips and dancing unholy. so I dont want that in my Spirit, Amen.

I’m a little confused, maybe you can elaborate for me how can one be a believer and yet still not be born again?
When a seeker first hears the Word of God ,and recieved it into his heart, he believes because the Word of God reveals to him that it's true.
Rom. 10:17 says that " Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God".
In the original Greek ,that the N.T. was written in, this form of believe is a noun. The form that leads to our salvation is a verb and requires action on our part. We must now choose to either remain in sin or " obey the gospel" plan of salvation.
Acts 2:38 is how we are " born of water and Spirit" according to John 3:5.
Why need god?

Pretty much no one really knows what "Born Again" really means....... and that includes all ministers, pastors, reverends, and priests.
Correction, I do not Like rap music, or any type of Worldly music.
Imagine, 63% said they were "saved?" Haha, which sadly shows how some religious people have eyes but can not see, have ears but can not hear, and have a God who gives wisdom and understanding to those in whom obey him, yet they , not even judged yet, still subject, as Job was, to trials and tribulations, think they are saved?
But what did Jesus say about getting saved? Well what did he say to thge man who for 38 years had an ailment and he couldn't even make it to the water where an Angel healed the first person who made it to the water when the Angel made its presence? Did Jesus say, "You are SAVED! (No?) He told the man he was "HEALED" not saved, healed of what was troubling him. But what did Jesus say after to him? "Sin no more "or" you will have even worse troubles.
So what did Jesus say about being saved? He said, "Those who ENDURE TO THE END will be saved!" So when Jesus was speaking about being "born again" to Nicodemus, theres nothing hidden so stop looking, and stop making things up, Jesus told the man that there is no way he would end up in Paradise because of his behaviors. Like God said to King David, "No, you will not be allowed to build a house for my name because of King Davids behaviors.
So we are spiritual beings born into flesh and while in the flesh we are told to either obey God and go into everlasting life, or, disobey God and go into everlasting damnation. But Jesus was telling Nicodemus that he was going to be "reincarnated" and then he will have another chance to obey God during his life and if he endures that life, being a Godfearing person, then at the end of that life you will not have to be "born again" again, no, instead u will be saved and go where our Father in Heaven has prepared for us.
One man asked Jesus how to enter into Gods Kingdom, and Jesus told him to obey Gods Commandments and the man said he has been since birth? But Jesus told him that he had to do something else to get saved, he had to sell everything he owned and then become a servant to the poor and needy?
Remember, Jesus was speaking to Nicodemus, not a crowd of people, or even a few people, just Nicodemus, and Nicodemus must have lived a lifestyle that Jesus knew would not cause him to go into punishment for. So when we die we are judged and then we are sentenced and for some people, especially like Nicodemus, and Paul also known as Saul, who are raised from their birth to behave a certain way or be shunned by your own people and punished by God, they are allowed to be born again into human flesh and this time follow the truth instead of a lie or ways of a certain nationality.
So Jesus meant what he said, theres no need to create something to fit into your own beliefs or your own understanding.
