It depends on how you plan to pay your scholars. Most managers pay their scholars to their personal Ronin account. Recall that transferring assets on Ronin is free. If you plan to payout each scholar through their MetaMask, you will incur gas fees for each transaction. Typically, payouts to scholars are typically scheduled times which means you have no control over gas fees at that designated time.

Haha those comments got me like 😊 Correct, you would pass over the login and password to each scholar. Make sure you don't use the same password for each scholar. For example: Scholar 1 Login - LouisLee+1@gmail.com PW - Axiebestteam36 Scholar 2 Login - LouisLee+2@gmail.com PW - Theotherscholarteampw The +1, +2, etc will send all emails to the LouisLee@gmail.com. It's nice everything come to one email inbox.

Thanks for your support, Amin! Its against terms and conditions to play on multiple accounts so I don't recommend that. You can however, buy three teams on your one account and rotate the teams based on the meta you are facing. If you know the meta well, and you know which parts are valuable/synchronize well, then you may be able to spot deals in the marketplace. I think its best to focus on one solid team and master the approach with that team rather than having multiple teams. This all will depend on budget and your leaderboard goals. If you watch Elijah | CTG, he is capable of top rankings with just one solid team.
The relationship between scholar and manager is very important. You want to try to be transparent and fair with your scholars. Provide them with good axies so they can play well. Try to be clear in your expectations and I hope everyone can benefit from your scholarship. Good luck!!
Awesome video! Question for you! We have a new scholar team starting up. My business partner and I have a question in regards to one of our scholars breaking the rules and getting banned. If this happened, would this mean that our main account with other axies not with other scholars or sub accounts also get banned? Or would it just be the scholar and the axies that the rule breaker "scholar" had been using in his account/sub account we made for him? Ultimately we are hoping that in the case where a scholar does break a rule and gets banned, our main account with other axies don't also get banned and removed/deleted. Thanks in advance!
Good luck to you and your business partner!! If one of the scholars breaks the rule and gets banned, this will effect the Axie's they play and potentially the Ronin account they play on. This is why it is important for each scholar to be on a separate Ronin account, so if one gets banned it does not effect any other account. Additionally, I find it helpful to check for activity on the scholars personal Ronin account prior to onboarding them. If you see SLP payouts, there is a chance of multi accounting which is a ban-able offense.

I personally test every single email and password I send my scholars. Usually, there is some error either in creating the login/pw or from the scholar's end. I suppose if you needed to, you could send the scholar the QR code for that account but its better if they are able to access it themselves since it resets every 14 days.
Correct! You send the scholar the email and password for their particular account and it gives them access to play the game. You can also feel secure knowing that Axies and SLP cannot be sent out of the account without Ronin access.

If scholar plays on multiple accounts, the Axies that they are using could get banned/frozen. As a manager, this is worst case scenario because now you have Axies that are banned for a period of time and cannot earn SLP. I believe ban duration could be 120 days or even longer depending on the scenario. To prevent this, you want to screen your scholars. Make sure they are aware of the rules. Also, check their ronin addresses to see if they are receiving payouts from other managers. And if you treat your scholars well, they won't want to ruin a good thing.
They only ban the 3 axies that are associated with that particular ronin account. Fortunately, I have never had banned Axies and my scholars have all been good to me.
Hey Allan, thank you for your great video! I have a quick question regarding the scholars access to the game. If they have the +1 and +2 emails, they can only access through IOS or Android apps, not the PC one right?

This is not a ban-able offense. Axie Infinity has clarified that managers are allowed to login to scholar accounts to claim SLP, send Axies, and perform other managerial tasks. Do not play on a scholars account. Any gameplay activity on multiple accounts on one device would be considered a ban-able offense. Good luck!!

What do you need to sell SLP? You can sell easily on Binance if you access to Binance. There is a direct Ronin to Binance bridge that makes it free to send to your Binance account. You can also sell on Uniswap but you would need a MetaMask wallet with a little bit of ETH to pay for gas fee of transaction.

The only information you need to give out is your Ronin wallet address to your manager can send you the SLP you earned. Some managers may request additional information from you such as a picture of yourself, name, contact info etc to make sure you are not multi-accounting or scamming them. Never give away the private keys to any of your crypto wallets. I don't know about any managers asking for your code for laborX or timeX. Not sure what that is about. If it doesn't feel right I suggest you keep looking for different manager.
No, you just spend energy to play. Energy resets each day. If you win, you gain SLP, if you lose nothing happens other than spending energy for the encounter.
Hi, so how exactly SLP is distributed between you and your scholar? do you just transfer certain agreed % amount to them at the end of the day? or it can be set to automatic?
Typically, fair 50/50 is a decent starting point with incentive rewards for higher SLP earners. There are websites such as axie.management that facilitate in monitoring and automating SLP allocations. Of course, do you own research. I personally do manual allocations to control the system and provide feedback to my scholars.
If you purchased the axies from the marketplace, they can start playing immediately. If you are sending from your personal account and you played those axies, you must wait 24 hrs from the time the axie was last used to play to avoid being flagged as multi-account.

Allan, how do you think about risk planning? If and when the game stops being popular do you anticipate it being a challenge to resell your Axie and get that money back?
It’s certainly an important factor to consider. As in crypto, volatility and risk of losing ones entire investment are possible. I did not take the decision to start a scholarship lightly. I believe in Axies vision and I gain great satisfaction in helping those less financially fortunate than myself. Also, Axie intends to also release Land gameplay as well as a “sink” feature which could add utility and value to Axies.

Hi Allan, what are your thoughts about the legality of running an Axie scholarship in relation to U.S. labor laws? I don't think U.S. law applies if we are only "hiring" foreign nationals, but I am still unclear on this.
I would first say that I am not a financial advisor, attorney, or tax expert so I cannot actually recommend anyone do anything. However, the thought process would seem to follow that playing a game and allowing others to play a game using your characters is not illegal or considered employment (unless you state as such in your conditions). If you come to a mutual agreement with others to allow them to play the game, retain some of the virtual game items, and the enjoy the fun they would not otherwise have then you can make a strong case that you are sharing a game experience with them. They may find value in this process and it can be mutually beneficial. Of course, everyone should follow SEC guidance considering any tax implications when swapping or trading cryptocurrencies. If you speak to a CPA, finding one that is well versed in blockchain would be advised, albeit incredibly difficult to find someone with those credentials. Hello Alexander! Yes, you can used the "gift" function to gift your 3 axies to your sister if you are not planning to play. You will need to create another Ronin account for her and I recommend waiting at least 24 hours between the time you last played those axies, to the time your sister starts playing on her device. Axie Infinity Terms of Service does not allow individuals to play multiple accounts. I suspect they have sophisticated pattern recognition, IP logging, MAC address, and digital fingerprinting to hold people to these standards. Also, for managers, it does pose some risk. I would recommend scanning the scholars ronin address before onboarding them to make sure they are not already earning SLP from another manager, or if they are changing to your program to be clear about NOT multi-accounting.

It's not really necessary anymore. You can skip that step if you would like.

They can access on all three platforms with the + emails. For PC, they just need to download the Mavis Hub. No difference.

I just realised that as a manager, while setting up scholar accounts on my desktop, I will also have multiple accounts in 1 device!

This is not a ban-able offense. Axie Infinity has clarified that managers are allowed to login to scholar accounts to claim SLP, send Axies, and perform other managerial tasks. Do not play on a scholars account. Any gameplay activity on multiple accounts on one device would be considered a ban-able offense. Good luck!!

As you are creating meta mask do we have to do the or we have to create complete new metamask .. so we dont get ban our axies

If you are given scholarship from someone else, what do you need? Typically you need to create your own personal Ronin account, most managers will send SLP for your allocation. You would need to communicate these details with your manager.
What do you need to sell SLP? You can sell easily on Binance if you access to Binance. There is a direct Ronin to Binance bridge that makes it free to send to your Binance account. You can also sell on Uniswap but you would need a MetaMask wallet with a little bit of ETH to pay for gas fee of transaction.

Is being asked for name, surname and email adress a common practice? Also in the future they want my code from laborX and timeX. What is that used for?
The only information you need to give out is your Ronin wallet address to your manager can send you the SLP you earned.
Some managers may request additional information from you such as a picture of yourself, name, contact info etc to make sure you are not multi-accounting or scamming them. Never give away the private keys to any of your crypto wallets.
I don't know about any managers asking for your code for laborX or timeX. Not sure what that is about. If it doesn't feel right I suggest you keep looking for different manager.

No, you just spend energy to play. Energy resets each day. If you win, you gain SLP, if you lose nothing happens other than spending energy for the encounter.

Hi, so how exactly SLP is distributed between you and your scholar? do you just transfer certain agreed % amount to them at the end of the day? or it can be set to automatic?
Typically, fair 50/50 is a decent starting point with incentive rewards for higher SLP earners. There are websites such as axie.management that facilitate in monitoring and automating SLP allocations. Of course, do you own research. I personally do manual allocations to control the system and provide feedback to my scholars.

When can the scholars start playing?
If you purchased the axies from the marketplace, they can start playing immediately. If you are sending from your personal account and you played those axies, you must wait 24 hrs from the time the axie was last used to play to avoid being flagged as multi-account.

Allan, how do you think about risk planning? If and when the game stops being popular do you anticipate it being a challenge to resell your Axie and get that money back?
It’s certainly an important factor to consider. As in crypto, volatility and risk of losing ones entire investment are possible. I did not take the decision to start a scholarship lightly. I believe in Axies vision and I gain great satisfaction in helping those less financially fortunate than myself. Also, Axie intends to also release Land gameplay as well as a “sink” feature which could add utility and value to Axies.

Hi Allan, what are your thoughts about the legality of running an Axie scholarship in relation to U.S. labor laws? I don't think U.S. law applies if we are only "hiring" foreign nationals, but I am still unclear on this.
I would first say that I am not a financial advisor, attorney, or tax expert so I cannot actually recommend anyone do anything. However, the thought process would seem to follow that playing a game and allowing others to play a game using your characters is not illegal or considered employment (unless you state as such in your conditions). If you come to a mutual agreement with others to allow them to play the game, retain some of the virtual game items, and the enjoy the fun they would not otherwise have then you can make a strong case that you are sharing a game experience with them. They may find value in this process and it can be mutually beneficial. Of course, everyone should follow SEC guidance considering any tax implications when swapping or trading cryptocurrencies. Haha definitely!! These are uncharted waters as we have never before had a game give deliver value back to its users like this. If you speak to a CPA, finding one that is well versed in blockchain would be advised, albeit incredibly difficult to find someone with those credentials. Hello Alexander! Yes, you can used the "gift" function to gift your 3 axies to your sister if you are not planning to play. You will need to create another Ronin account for her and I recommend waiting at least 24 hours between the time you last played those axies, to the time your sister starts playing on her device. Axie Infinity Terms of Service does not allow individuals to play multiple accounts. I suspect they have sophisticated pattern recognition, IP logging, MAC address, and digital fingerprinting to hold people to these standards. Also, for managers, it does pose some risk. I would recommend scanning the scholars ronin address before onboarding them to make sure they are not already earning SLP from another manager, or if they are changing to your program to be clear about NOT multi-accounting.
