- @mark wintle fishing It's the end of the season and despite the river's continuous ups and downs due to the prodigious amount of rain we've had I managed a short session on the upper river. By the following day, due to heavy overnight rain, it was again over 5ft up but I got this session in and found some decent roach and chub on quiver-tipped bread.
I flit in & out of your vids Mark & always enjoy your content & presentation of it. Thank you. Best t'ya.
Glad you like them.
Lovely video Mark. I didn't manage to get out fishing on the river at all this side of 2024 due to the conditions but glad you managed. All the best, Harry
It was a struggle. I managed five river trips since Christmas, and over the season about half as many as normal.
Thanks for another great video Mark
Glad you enjoyed it
That's the same box and leg system you used in the 90s when you fished for Barclays 😂 Tony Holmes
The box I had back then, and still use with its Octoplus system, is the bigger size in green. This blue one is a Beta box with a newer version of the Octoplus system. What's good about the Shakespeare boxes is that they swallow up the camera gear as well as the fishing tackle.
Great video mark and a cracking chub. Nice to see the roach coming out as well. 3 months to go again 😢
Thanks 👍
Nice video mark, i do love that part of the stour.
fished The Bull Stretch on Thursday. Float was out of the question.
Had a couple of Bream on corn. best going around % or 6lb.
Lost 4 nice fish.
Its been a hard few weeks.
The river was almost back to Monday's level on Thursday which was on the high side. I prefer it when it's about 0.45 or less at Hammoon. Well done on the bream.
@MarkWintleFishing always enjoy your adventures.
Quite a few of my mates watch you.
I Bailiff Salisbury waters and the Avon at Downton has been unmissable for months.
Keep them coming Mark.
Enjoyed watching this vid, that reel sounds rough! Where is your 300?
I do have a couple of 300s and a 300A though rarely use them now.
