After you do this lemon and baking soda, should you put car wax on the headlights to protect them?
You can try that to extend result. It is not permanent.
How long does this last?
I tried this... Mine looked like yours until it dried... Then it was white again... Did not work for me
The acid is probably what ruins it. Should use a cutting/polishing compound instead.
What are the affects over time?
The clarity fades. However, I clean these once a month and they stay clear. Permanent process would be to wet sand and then reapply clearcoat.
This shit works so good holy crap
Glad it worked for you. I try to do this once a month or every two months. If your lights are not too far gone it has good results.
Is lime okay?
Lime and orange works as well. Its not as good as wet sanding and clear coating, but it will clean them depending on how bad the coat is.
@@missfixnolimit1800 thanks!
If anyone wants to jump to a more permanent restoration, Ive attempted Chris Fix’s wet sand clear coat video. Its 100%
Link to the wet sand method?

Did you carve out the lemon?
It was an older lemon from the fridge. Why waste it? Just cut any lemon in half and use it.
Didn't work on mine.
Tried it don't work
how about WD-40?
I tried wd-40. It looked like it worked but after it dried it went back to foggy. Depends on level of clear coat damage
Yeah this did not work for me.
Sometimes the clear coat is too far gone.
Yea I Tried It And No Luck For Me
meh ..
Its hard to say, depending on condition of the clear coat. Mine lasted continuous as I try to use this application once a month.
