- Hello! Today I am going to show you how to quickly and easily change the rear tire of a KTM 390 Duke with a few simple tools and accessories. Instead of paying a shop or having a mechanic come to you to do all of the work,(paying for tire mount is understandable, that's what I did in this case) why not learn how to maintain your machine little by little! I hope you find this video helpful , please like and subscribe if you would like to see more content!

If you look closely at 4:12 and on, you’ll see when It changes to the fresh tire, the bearing spacer is gone. I ended up damaging my swing arm because I didn’t notice it, live and learn.
THANK YOU SIR GREAT VISUALS 😊
Thank you! It's removing the brake pads that helped me
Thanks for taking the time to make this video buddy.
Haha great vid, the burnout at the end 👌🏼
Thanks Matt!
Thanks gurujii
mil gracias por compartir, excelente tutorial, saludos desde ARGENTINA !!!
Gracias! Disfruta y mantente a salvo!
nice bike!
you dont need to loosen your chain (when you get out the axle just push wheel to front of motorcycle and then get out the chain) and to remove brake pads-they are not a big problem when you puting on a wheel
Nice and I like that crash guard make one video for that
Hi Matthew, quick question: Your bobbins have a size, because I tried to get them and there are 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm.
Really great video! This helps a lot🙏🏼
I removed and replaced the wheel without moving the brake pads or chain adjuster
It’s easier for me to just undo all that so I’m not fighting with it at the end
Hi Matthew, what size is the big socket you used to remove the wheel spindle?
It was large like 18-22mm size
hi! no need for wheel balancing? thanks!
Take it to a shop have them mount and balance it , removing the tire yourself will save you some money
You don’t need to remove anything from the breaks just the big bolt and ones on the side and it’ll come off
is 160 tyre fitted for that rim?
Check the original tire size for the bike and see if it’s close enough
Tell me, is the tire tubeless or with a tube?
Tubeless
how many miles do tires usually last
Depends on how you ride , If you’re rough and do burnouts occasionally be ready to change it at 5 thousand miles
OK\
What is the size of tire??
Hard to read upside down but it's a 150, which is what comes on it for looks but 140 is correct tire for that rim, I have one w/ olins/andreani/magura/ michelin pilot cup evo tires, live in nc mountains on a twisty road
.
Tnx
