This case is very interesting. Thanks for reviewing it! You’ve now done the “sensible” build. It would be cool to see an “average” build with midrange parts , and then an “extreme” build with overkill parts and possible mild case modification to get temps as low as possible. Thanks again for the interesting and entertaining content!
Got one of these - amazingly, an EVGA RTX 3060Ti at 202mm "just" fits in the case (I would say there is a little more room even - perhaps for a card up to 205mm long...) . My build uses a 5700G. I used an SFX PS (Focus 650W), so while in theory there should now be more room in the case, the longer cables made installation a PITA. Had to uninstall/install several pieces to get everything in (RAM, SSD, PS). The PS fan faces UP, which is not good, no holes there (I decided to stand the case on the side so that the MB is on the bottom; I could make the PS fan face down, but there is a little tab for mounting an ATX PS in the way of the switch - it can be cut or bent, I suppose). But even if the PS fan faces down, the PS fan is hardly used, so air does not really flow through the PS. After booting, running into a fairly huge issue - CPU temp is out of control. In a 22C room, idling 50C, if anything needs to use the CPU for a prolonged time, it jumps to mid-90s quickly. Using stock fan for now, and did not reapply paste, so there is some room for improvement, but the major problem is that with the 3060Ti, there is really no more room for a fan so air can flow through the case. It is really stagnant in there, and that's a huge issue. Debating how to solve this issue without making this build a monstrosity. Was very excited to get it, now I'm a little worried if I can make it work for me. (I remember a friend of mine had a similar heat issue - his solution was to open the case and blast a huge external fan onto the case innards - it worked, but was very ghetto, lol).
Definitely very interesting case and system. Replacing the PSU with SFX and then having those 75mm coolers would be interesting (assuming it’d fit of course)

It is with AMD Ryzen 5 5600G and Corsair 32GB 3200 RAM. In the BIOS by default AUTO it opens as 2133Mhz. The BIOS version is 1.4. Is it safe to tweak it to right speed 3200Mhz? Will work OK or crash? Is there any danger in doing so? Sould I change also the voltage- Will I feel big difference between the Mhz?

Interesting that they went with an ATX PSU and not an SFX. Certainly would open you up to some MUCH better coolers, and better CPU temps. But yeah... an SFX PSU would have cost more. BTW... the new studio looks awesome.
That aero 3060ti and a 5600 or 5600x with an l9i cooler would be cool. I believe it's lower profile than the ryzen cooler so should allow more air being brought into the cooler. Honestly even flipping the l9i fan so it pushes hot air into the power supply intake might help.

Yes it fits, but blocks out any air movement in the case, making it a tragically hot box... Running a 5700G is even challenging... I think a very good HSF and an air mover fan are a must, this CPU ran fine in a micro case with lots of fans.

Nice case but it's too bad that finding one of these is like finding a sasquatch. I wish these things were a lot easier to get. I don't understand why they don't make these more available.
FORREAL i have been looking since I saw this video and absolutely nothing. Announced back in January and youtubers getting them as of 2 weeks ago so hopefully soon
Great video. I just got me one of the DeskMeets. I'm hoping I bought a good processor. I bought the Ryzen 5 5600G. I see you went with just a 5500. I haven't opened it yet. Any thoughts if you readi this comment would be appreciated.
Nobody complimented me on my box throwing skills. Sad :(
What is that keyboard I spy? Looks super clean and low!
It's one of the new NZXT keyboards with custom keycaps.
@@GearSeekers thanks for the reply!
I watched somewhere that the psu fan acts as an intake from the rear, blowing down on the CPU internally, so probably beware replacing with a conventional bottom intake psu. Though that could be an interesting test.
yo has anyone been able to buy this? its not available for purchase anywhere to my knowledge.
Very good and fair review 👍👏, i would love to own one. But you are right, its a bit expensive. I went away from itx builds (ye they are kinda cool) as micro atx cases are still pretty, but have so much more expandibility and cooling capability. And ez to build btw. After years of experiments, itx has always a problem. I love my Dell micro 3050 sff for light office use, or even a small homelab, but gaming needs to be in a atx case when you ask me. Less efforts.
If it comes in at $200-250 (US), I'd be really interested!!
The Deskmate X300 which is a smaller version of this comes in at $249AUD ($175USD). I think you're probably right on the money with that.
