how did you have a tri-clamp size opening in your lid? I looked on SS and theirs looks much different and is borderline overkill. I'm dying a slow death from oxygenation and need this technology :)
I manually add it. I would recommend you don't place it in the center... The inset causes a triclamp to not be able to twist. I have to replace the thumb screw with a standard nut.
I purchased the older 7 gallon Chronical dome lid with the 1.5 TC flange so you can easily connect to that with a clamp, gasket and the same connector/pressure release valve used here. It was about $60 for everything!
Hi! I purchased the following from Ss Brewtech: 1. weldless 1-1/2 inch tri clamp bulkhead. 2. Tri clamp pressure relief valve I then bought a carbonation post that is used to carb soda bottles. I used some had line to connect this to the pleasure relief valve. I then attached a ball lock fitting to to some beer line to fill the keg.
Nice work Chris. Does the trub or other hop gunk clog the keg poppet? I have a brew bucket and do something similar. I also tackle the "cold crash sucking in oxygen" issue. See my video starting here: ua-cam.com/video/Ih10ORAY_qw/v-deo.html
Thanks for sharing we’re about to start the closed transfer loop method and have the same fermenters. This video really helped us out 🍻

What components did you buy in addition to the brewbucket? I want to do this! Thanks for showing me.

Why not simply use the existing airlock grommet with a cheap racking cane? Your only using 3 psi....
My regulator doesn't do a great job at holding 3 psi. This prv helps ensure I don't over pressurize the vessel.
