My mum use to have one of these in the 90s, it's a LBT-D108 version, and boy the sound was amazing, something I took for granted as a little kid, and then we moved on to a Philips mini HiFi system after it got bad and repair is quite costly back then, I regret the day my mum had to throw it away,
Ive had mine for nearly 30 years. Sony really knew what they wete doing. I have a Sony MP3 player that is 13 years old and it still plays like a dream and it's lovely to hold in your hand I don't know any other MP3 players that this kind of life brilliant!
I bought one of these when I was a kid and it still works just fine. The cover for tape B is broken on mine too, vacuumed the dust out of it and it still plays. Added a turntable and fed my computer audio through it.
I know this vid is hella old, but I have this setup rn n the speaker wire coming from the speakers are all fucked up,, and I want to ask if you know if you can add like a flex pin connector or even an rca adapter to the wire and if it will work. I'm sure the flex pin will but I'm curious if I put the speaker wire into the rca converter will it still work? any advice would be greatly appreciated
and yeah this was my parents old home system we've had since I was born and I use it for my records and the sound is actually really surprisingly amazing haha

I had this system! It came with a turntable and a 5-CD player. The CD player was definitely the highlight.

I have the exact same story except I'm missing both covers
I have a working instance of this and I am so proud of it :)
Just got one of these, should I get 100w speakers for it?

Does your headphone Jack work with your adapter? I've tried using it as an aux, but no luck yet.
