I always warned my daughter that if something doesn't feel right or the hair on the back of her neck raises to get away and to stay close to a group of people if she was alone. One late rainy afternoon, when she was 15 she was getting a bus, she walked pass the bus stop where there was nobody waiting, walked further to the bus stop where there was a group of older ladies. A man in a car stopped and offered her ride, she yelled No you're a stranger and old enough to be my father! The man hesitated then glanced at the other women at the bus stop and drove off fast.
