🍽Ingredients for Shrimp Cakes Recipe:
►1 lb large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
►4 oz (1 1/2 cups) mozzarella cheese, shredded
►1 large egg
►1/4 cup mayonnaise
►2 Tbsp parsley, finely chopped
►1/2 tsp sea salt, or to taste
►1/8 tsp black pepper
►1/4 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
►2 Tbsp light olive oil (or high-heat cooking oil of choice)

►1/2 cup mayo
►1 tsp lemon zest
►2 Tbsp lemon juice
►1 garlic clove, pressed or finely minced

Delicious! I used almond flour and added onions to the cakes. Also added smoked paprika to the sauce. Perfection.
More often than not I cook for my wife. But I needed something special for her as we are going through a trying time after a miscarriage. Dinner was several hours ago and she is still talking about these Shrimp Cakes and the sauce. I left her the rest of them to take to work tomorrow. I made this recipe for my Great Granddaughter's mothers family party and everyone loved them so much that they didn't even use the Aioli sauce I made to go with them. Now they want me to make them again for another birthday party their having. Thank you Natasha for this recipe. I got a lot of compliments for this recipe. Just made these and OMG SO GOOD. I added more seasoning and Oldbay, fresh lemon juice and cut up some fresh cilantro lol I’m making these once a week

Just tried these. Amazing. Just amazing. And so easy to prepare. I just did a little tweak in the sauce recipe ... Added 1.5 tsp of tomato ketchup to bring in a subtle sweet flavor, it just went out of the roof. Thanks a lot Natasha for sharing this superb recipe.

Nice job, I had a pound of frozen shrimp to make and this really worked, added a little sauted onion/celery tops/scant garlic trying to be a healthy person, Awesome Dish! Thanks for sharing!!
Made these tonight, really good! One tip for the aioli; soak the garlic in the lemon juice for 10 minutes to cook it out a bit, I always do that when I make hummus it really knocks the edge off the raw garlic. Excellent recipe!

These are amazing!
I mixed it up a little:
Added finely diced fresh jalapeño to the batter for a slight little kick (rinse them under water first before adding otherwise may be too hot for you)
Added some finely diced spring onion to the batter. Just a little bit
Used a powdered California style garlic mix instead of fresh
I follow KETO so used coconut flour. Gave them a tad bit tropical/nutty flair!
Added a bit of curry powder to the aioli and extra lemon zest. Yum!
Also- made the sauce and the batter an hour or so early, refrigerate both before sautéing so that the flavours can merge.

These are wonderful I now make them every week for my family. Don't skip the sauce! We had corn on the cob with it and the kids said the sauce was even great on the corn!

They turned out PERFECT!! I made half with almond flour and half with regular flour... couldn't tell the difference.
Oh Natasha, I am not very good in the kitchen and I do not really care for seafood. However for a surprise for my seafood loving husband I thought I would give this recipe a try and be willing to eat it with him. OMG, this video brought me back 30 yrs ago when I was a little kid and my mum used to cook it for me . So yummy and my all time favourite 😋. I made these but I made it my own with a homemade herb oil and a spicy aioli with some of the same herb oil and a homemade fermented hot sauce. Natasha, these were absolutely superb; a real "slap the counter" recipe!
(In case anybody wants the herb oil recipe - this is something I came up with to prevent my fresh herbs from going bad before I could use them - process herbs with oil, a few garlic cloves, a shallot, S&P, and juice of one lemon. It's a fantastic ingredient in marinades, salad dressings, and also shrimp cakes. Herbs I use were green onions, parsley, cilantro, basil, mint, and dill, but I'm sure this would be delicious with any mixture of fresh herbs)

Looks so good Natasha 😋 I remember my aunt was making Mexican food and she made almost the same sauce you made exept for the garlic 🧄 and made it as a salad dressing 🥗 Omgosh it was sooo good! I can’t remember if she added a bit of milk or not? But her seasoning was just salt 🧂 and pepper, oh and she also added black olives (no pits) and some I think yellow Pepper Cheneys that’s not how you spell that lol I love a mayo salad but she took that salad 🥗 to the next step! YOUR MY FAVOR COOK!!!!
We buy the Argentinian shrimp at Trader Joe’s and it is the best. We use this recipe almost weekly - and three kids never tire of it. It’s the best!!!

Hello... I just made these but I mistakenly added 2 eggs, rather than just 1. Anyway, they fell apart while I was cooking them, so I decided to Panko them rather than adding more flour and they turned out really good! I'm going to make the Aioli Sauce the next time I make them, but for now I just used come cocktail sauce. Next time I'll remember just 1 egg :)
I managed to get 8 good size patties from one lb of med.size shrimp.
It's a good recipe. I served mine with spicey sweet and sour sauce.
