It reminds me of when I used to repo vehicles and serve foreclosure notices on people. I hated to repo but I needed to support my family as well. The one repo that stands out for me was the bank sent my to repo a single moms vehicle. She was late on her very last payment and the bank sent me to get it. I tried talking to the bank on her behalf because it was her very last payment. The bank wanted the money or the vehicle. This lady did not have the money because she was supporting her 3 kids. I just could not take the vehicle from her so I asked how much her last payment was. It was a whole $220.00. I know the bank charged her a high interest loan so I just made the last payment for her. That was her Christmas present from my wife and myself. I feel it was the right thing to do. I just could not take it from her for a mere $220.00. The bank was happy to get paid and she was ecstatic to keep her car. It is not always about the money folks.
Man I miss the repo day's. I use to repo vehicles, boat's, motorcycle, planes and mobile homes. Never a shed. Makes me want to get back in a tow vehicle.
Your good people...I was thinking before you started talking how hard it must be to repo a building that maybe someone lived in or has stuff in it...your husbands mindset is so loving...hes got a job to do but he helps people..thasts awesome !!!!
