I always wonder if the monkeys have a look at us and it's like: "Hey Bill! Come look at these other monkeys" "Oh aye. Strange lookin' ain't they?" "Aye. Wonder what happened to their tails?" "Dunno. Poor sods." Fun vid!
Millie! I love when wildlife parks have more space and allow some animals to freely roam. Zoos don't have that as much. Not far from me is the Detroit Zoo and it's fine, the animals are able to just do their thing, but not as much room as those animals had. I think the only free roaming animal I recall seeing were Peacocks. They will hang out with you, lol! I went to a wildlife reserve in O'ahu, Hawai'i and they do all sorts of things to help save endangered species. They also have an entire dolphin interaction thing which some quibble is tough on the dolphins, but others say that dolphins enjoy social interactions. All I know is that it was life changing to be in their presence. Thanks for this great vlog! Sláinte! ~Be Blessed
Some of us Americans do know how to drive manual/stick! To be extra pedantic most automatics also have gearing that can be manipulated manually. I recently taught my friend how to downshift, hopefully she'll save her brake pads from excessive use.
A good video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 this was a little part of my childhood. I remember going with my cousins we had to do a lot of chores for the week if we wanted to go.
That was a fun IBL - I was in Fota as a kid and yeah I too remember the cheetahs and the ostriches 😃😃😃 Don't worry, Alex's second gear joke hit home with this Irish guy!!😅😅 Another great IBL - must check out the Rock of Cashel myself some day - always meant to go😀😀

I too love gray days. Wonderful zoo; looks like it's well- kept by people who obviously care about the animals. Thank you, also, for showing us Cork. You guys are lucky to live in such a beautiful country.
Well done young lady. Loud shout out to Alex and the star of the show Millie. Gotta love the the puppies. Thanks again for a brain giggle and distraction from world events. Go Ukrainians.
Thanks for sharing. Quick question for you though. Why not wait a few more months to do the walk about at the animal park? Seems you guys could have picked a better season. Anyways... Txs 🇨🇦 PS I'm a huge penguin fan.
Here in Calgary, the local zoo has a thing called a Penguin Walk. Haven't seem them as I don't go there that often. In the warmer months, you can see peacocks walking around freely.
Cause we had to be down in Cork on that day so said we’d make a day of it. In Ireland you don’t really wait for the good weather or you’d never do anything 😂
Girl I can’t believe you were 10 mins up the road from me. Hope ye had fun 😄❤️

In the before time there was a cool mini "train" (a train shaped vehicle pulling some passenger carriages) around Fota, two stops at either end. It was the business, you saw loads but without as much walking. Also there was 5km runs around the park where the animals would sometimes run along side. My smallies miss the tropical house, the butterflies would be right above your head and the turtles were always eating, pure spoilt turtles :D Here's hoping more of that will be back soon.
My partner works for the ESB and a few years ago one of his colleagues had to work on one of the lines running through fota. On his way back to the yard in the city he heard some rustling and when he turned around there was a lemur eating his food 🤷🏼♀️
Alex, just be glad Clare didn't feed you to the tigers( tiger king 3?!)🤣😂 kidding) We drive automatic and stick here. So most of us got Alex's joke 😂🤣 Here in Colorado we have lots of free roaming buffaloes, mountain lions😳,mountain goats etc. and we have " parks" but most are specific to a specific animal. I like seeing animals have space and be more free than how they are in most zoos. I love when you give us the history of where you're going 👍👍 Stay warm. Stay safe. Give hugs and rubs to your wild animal 🤣Millie ❤️❤️
Fock yea....another star quality vlog with alex...he is a focking legend ...lol...luv you too clisare but man he glows with star power on camera...lmao...you two are focking awesome..big hugs .....ohhhhh an your a star for wearing a Clemson jumper on other channel....I grew up there n have family....that was focking epic ...go tigers 🐅 ....all u need now is there rival the gamecocks jumper
YOU KNOW WHAT. IT _IS_ A BEAUTIFUL GRAY DAY. Also I hope someday you get to visit San Diego and go to their zoo and safari park. American zoos may be iffy half the time and it's not cheap, but my God they're big and there's a lot to see in both.
Always wanted to go to the zoo where they have that area where you can hold a tiger cub or leopard cub. My cousin got to do that once when with his school trip. Always wanted to do that but never got the chance. 🐯 🐆 EDIT: same with polar bear or penguin I think that’d be neat
You kids remind me of my wife and I when we courting.... except she insisted on driving and I slept during the journey ( a tradition that goes till today unless the drive is over 4 hours an we need to make time)
Clare & Alex . .not all Americans are strangers to shifting gears. Automatics are certainly all that is being manufactured anymore, but I own a '69 MG. Ya gotta know how to make it go!
Ok to set the matter straight NOT ALL Americans drive automatic cars. Many many drive standard shift too. When I started driving in 1977 probably 1/2 of the cars on the road were manual. Unfortunately soon Alex will be right, I think nowadays only about 3% of cars sold in the states are manual transmission but there's still a lot of us that get the joke ha ha! I’ve had 20 cars in my life and about half of them were manual shift. Americans can be lazy so who needs the extra work? Unless it’s a sports car, why bother, be lazy. There’s no driver satisfaction driving a family car with a manual transmission anyway. Great video as always!
@@Clisare thank you! Was thinking of you earlier today .. I know you won't believe it, but I had never seen Jenna Marbles before.... a video popped up with her, and she had a stretchy choker that looks amazingly like yours, lol..

Define 'cold. Besides that, it's nice to see you in the Irish countryside. As long as you and Alex had fun, it's all good.

automatics with gears still don't have a clutch
Good Fotagraphy 👍

Well done, Clare! The monkeys looked as though they were plotting, to be sure
"The monkeys sent you a message."
The message is "Tell Millie we're her biggest fans."

Hey! Three percent of us in the US still drive a stick! Alex, killing it once again.
I don't, but could, in a pinch
love when you guys do road trips. Clare maybe put all your weather supplies in a bag by the door. just sayin

Out of Africa in either AZ or CA (they moved from Scottsdale, not sure where to)
Note to city kids: If a wire fence doesn't have barbs, it is because _it doesn't need them._
Well, now you have to watch your back, monkeys are vengeful buggers 😆 Looked like great fun…
The Rock of Cashel is a pretty cool place to visit.
To be fair, lots of Americans can not only drive standard/stick, but some of us can even handle a hill start! :D
Cheers from California Clisare !
Some of us oldster 'muricans get the downshifting joke ;-)
Gooood afternoon from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great day!
At first I thought the title was We went to fota wildlife park TO COOK. 😂
I'm going to be there in August can't wait to go to the zoo and meet some awesome Irish people
i love and hate videos like this, because it shows me things i can never afford...but it's out there
I'm both thrilled and heartened that Ireland has trees.
The first time we were at Fota, a kangaroo ran by us, and I flipped out. Found a zoo keeper and she laughed at my panic.
Looks like fun
You guys should come to the states and vlog going to universal studios and seaworld you guys would love it

I thought it said FUPA Wildlife Park 🙈 read the title too fast 😅 I hope there’s not a FUPA wildlife park....petting area would reek something fierce 🤣
Wrestle an alligator? If you win, do you get a new purse?

Down shift right. Give me a stick shift over an automatic any day even in LA traffic.
I don't know if it's just me, but I'd pay double the price of admission to see you wrestle an alligator! :-)

Yes, cheetahs are lovely to look at, but don't ever get into a card game with one.
Not all of us drive automatic lol
Hoping the Americans do not open the link with the neeeeeeck of you video, so embarrassing for us 😂😂
