It's so lovely they acknowledged the crew and had them stand up to be recognized. In all my years of attending film festivals, I have never seen the director(s) acknowledge the crew so prominently, when they're so integral to the end result
so good of them!!! the silent heroes to films, they definitely don't get acknowledged enough in the industry!
Yes, and they do it consistently which shows they really meant it.
"Write something you're gonna grow from. It doesn't matter who watches it or if it even gets made. You still went on a worth while artistic journey." That is honestly great advice. Gonna take that one with me haha
They just swept up 7 Oscars and won best picture and the Daniels won best director and writing and I am so proud of all of them.

dont think ive ever seen a film convey so much emotion and comic relief in one film, within a film that demands the highest level of editing to even make sense and hold its meaning. This was my fave theatre experience, total joy. Cant wait for future Daniels projects. Want to buy anything relating this film.

One of the best Q&As I've ever seen. No wonder these guys are such tremendous visionaries and screenwriters, they have a marvelous way with words. Saw EEAAO twice and bawled my eyes out both times, and somehow that even extended to while I was watching this video since I was re-experiencing it through their eyes. Long Live Daniels.
Ke Huy Quan, that's dedication and brilliance. Quite imaginative and smart to hire people to help. It's ppl like you that make a movie great.
Daniels, thanks for sharing about mental illness & seeing a therapist. It's good to know successful ppl go thru hard times too but still making it.

Just saw this in Mountain View, CA. Just laughing, crying, cheering the entire time. This is one of those movies that will just get better with every watching.

I had the same feeling when I walked out of the matrix and inception. Can’t stop thinking about this movie and the message at the end. 😢

Oh my God. I have ADHD and I said to myself as I watched the movie that I saw that in Evelyn. I am so glad to hear it confirmed and I feel so seen by this movie.
Can't believe Daniel Kwan is the same Daniel Kwan from the 'Turn Down For What' DJ Snake & Lil Jon music video. Haha
this cast and crew seems so nice and kind and loving. I have my hands propped on my chin and my legs kicking in the air as i'm lying down like those girls in teen movies watching them.
Right?! I've watched a few interviews because I cant stop thinking about it and its apparent how gracious they are towards each other and just how much respect and humility they all have. It makes me love it all even more. I will definitely go see it again this week.
At a minimum, Original Screenplay next Oscars.
My hope is for best directors, best actress, supporting actress for Stephanie and actor for Ke Huy Quan, editing, and possibly Best Picture as well 🤞🤞 Hoping for an awards sweep next year
@@ericrscastillo5358 I want them to be fair, and not suddenly give it a bunch of comedians cause Chris Rock got slapped. I haven't seen the movie yet. Everyone said Spiderman No Way Home was great, but I just found it OK.
@@putinscat1208 this is sooo much more than just a comedy, trust me. Incredibly moving, INSANE editing skills... cannot recommend enough dropping everything and going to see it immediately.

Best movie I've ever seen in theaters
Just saw the movie and it was everything I was expecting. I saw it late because of my busy schedule but was not disappointed!
They acknowledged, respected, inspired and supported each other so fluently that it is like they became a family not bound by blood but by the love of the arts itself as a whole. There is a sense that the production of it all was carried, loved and championed by the whole team, everyone involved. A complete opposite of big budget, big studio productions where viewers are in awe of cinematics and effects, where as this movie just brings the viewers in allies where the stories finds resonance within ourselves but also gives opportunities to explore the possibilities to be better for our selves and each other. It challenges is to find again the value of empathie for each other and our selves.

The two directors all and recklessly helmed a film... with its team...which is a testament to the creative, the exertive & assertive, the yielding, the loving.., and the committed beings... who found themselves in.., and out of nothing less... than a miracle. ... This movie is a masterpiece. It's the perfect brain-child of the heart and absurdity of the Swiss Army Man and the sci-fi and philosophy of Rick and Morty.
Saw it in IMAX, 9\10. THIS is how you do a multiverse movie with emotions, laughter and philosophy. Too bad only 1 IMAX showing in all of Minnesota, dumb morbius taking the IMAX screens.

Jamie Lee Curtis outfit makes me think of a mature Bayonetta
The Russo Brothers took a chance on them but I've not heard the Daniels mention them once. The Russo's have gone on record saying how they want to pay it back and support indie film makers with original ideas because they were once like them, and Steven Soderberg give them a chance when one one else would so I think they deserve huge credit for taking a chance at the very least a mention.
