Tips when playing:
-gather resource when sunrise
-mining when it's come to night
-making base as fast as you can
-and yeah grow bamboo and make spike
Mining is bad because mobs Can dig to you
How to survive: Build a sky base because you’ll eventually have zombies digging underneath your house from time to time.
Bro the creepers just exploded projectile themselves up to your base it's ridiculous. Thats what I do in my world and it always scares the shit out of me
@@weirdstuffincorporated716 yeah I’ve had that happen before. If anything, I think the zombies are worse lmao. They’ll tear your house apart if they’re anywhere near you in caves/zombie catacombs.
@@chrislee7775 thankfully I haven't had that happen yet, I have an elevated base and a Castle base that has a layer of obsidian on the whole underside in the ground to hopefully prevent anything from digging in

My buddies and I found a way to bypass this while making underground houses. If you make your whole base out of wood there’s waaaay less chances that the zombies will break in since there’s not a lot of them that have axes. Pair this with holes of 2-3 blocks deep and they’ll fall off. And it works on top too , they’ll fall off on the sides trynna search for the sounds
I have been playing recently and I have been using these, here's what I've learned:
1. Bamboo alone will not save you. Creepers will blow up to open a path for other mobs to get to the player
-Placing the bamboo wall farther out could help, I haven't tested that
2. Bamboo spike moat is great, but make sure to get rid of any overhangs nearby, skeletons will camp them and shoot you.
3. Waterlogged stairs are great, but creepers can launch themselves at you, make sure you make the wall tall or get rid of nearby cliffs.
There’s something called Sturdy stone in the modpack too, which seems to have a pretty good blast resistance as well. Isnt the prettiest but it definitely works in a pinch to keep most mobs out. Except the ones that can mine in and the spores. Just build a sky base.

That waterlogging is clever, creepers are so dangerous because they will erase any wall you make to keep out the monsters, I will make everything stairs, even the perimeter in and outside of the bamboo wall!
The other glass type in the mod pack is actually super resistant and I haven't had a creeper successfully break it yet
I found that Black Argillite is blast resistant, a raised house with a base of it could probably be nice, raised just so zombies can't mine in
Great video! I just made a starter base in the mod pack and posted it. I really like the bamboo as a wall and I have never seen the water logged walls before!
you can make an item collecting system in the Bamboo spike moat by placing water in each corner of the pit (use trap doors on 2 of the sides to block the water from colliding with each other) then place the spikes along side the walls, don't forget to place some spike on the trapdoor in the moat. Afterwards, just place some water on top of the spiked trap door. This whole thing will prevent creepers or skeleton demoman from blowing up the moat. All the items will loop around to a single corner of your moat, just place a hopper to collect them and you should be good, just remember to spawn proof the tunnel tho cause mobs can and will spawn down there. **You can shift and walk on the spike without taking damage, be careful of falling creepers if you decide to do that tho
Like other have said, as long as you build your base up high then you won't find much issue with rocket creepers, the most they'll do is damage you a little if your wall is only 1 or 2 layers thick. As long as you waterlog your base, you're not gonna get any issue with them launching at you or zombies mining out your base from below.

Yep. Zombies with pickaxes can spawn in the caves and they will mine through blocks to get to you.
when i play this lots of mobs are not spawning, from eggs and just in survival mode. can anybody help me to fix this?
Uninstall and try download the modpack through curseforge.

Why don't you tell the crafting recipe for each thing your equipped with nightfall material for example how the hell do you make bamboo?
bamboo itself? or bamboo spikes? bamboo is a plant.. you find it, usually by water. However, in the case of this modpack, the game gave it to me after progressing through the quests, just collect the reward.
I dropped my quest book by accident is there actually no way to get it bck?
you can bind a key in settings to open your quests without needing the book

You need a spyglass to zoom, once you have that you can press Left Alt (Default key) to zoom
