I love this modpack. It's been exactly a week since we started playing and I have over 2 days of server time. I have over 60 plus (mostly from fighting dragons) Thank you for this modpack. Keep up the great work!
I just wanna say, even if you dont end up reading this. This has to be the modpack I see most potential in, like you can probably replay this modpack like 5 times and still keep learning. I really like that concept and hope you add more content like that, that rewards more experienced players. And I've really actually been wanting a good fantasy pack for a long time. Travelling mountains could be a hassle though.
I've beaten the game before some of the new changes. It was fun and I cannot wait for new bosses and new major features to experience.

Despite that the beginning is kinda difficult, I would suggest on nerfing Apotheosis because people get wayyy too OP too quickly. Because after that, Dawncraft just gets boring because you're unkillable. Like look at how freaking fast ChosenArchitect did this to get almost maxed out.
You can probably do that on your own in the config to challenge yourself leave the newer players alone

This modpack is amazing. It just needs a more dynamic camera to make it phase through big enemies less, like its in elden ring
I agree, would be quite difficult to make a mod specifically for that though :/
@@bstylia14 Yeah it doesnt sound easy at all, but im sure it would make the gameplay feel way better. One way to achieve this is to try to make the camera move a little slower

Amazing Work! I wanted to leave this comment somewhere for people to find. I was having world generation issues with version 1.31, but reverting to 1.30 Fixed it. There's not much online explaining how to troubleshoot world generation crashes :P I'm sure there's a better fix involving my JRE or JDK versions or something, but this allowed me to at least play the game.
just recently got time to play it and i died a lot at first day, but it feels more interesting and intuitive than a lot of the other modpacks I've played

NGL never knew how to look for Koroks at all, it made health and stamina hard to level up. Also cool that cave fragments can do that
I have 2 questions for you:
1. How many different biomes are there and how large are they? I am currently playing RAD2 and I am not a fan of how small the biomes are before they transition into others. (Ex: I cannot building a large village before the biome already changes.)
2. How vast is the building in your modpack? As I am more into building than adventuring, I'd like to know how much variety of building blocks there are, if items of furniture exist, and if flora and fauna is plenty - something RAD2 is pretty lacking in.

Hi. Dawncraft is something legendary and I believe that it will go down in history. Epic fight mod has been updated and I want to ask. Will there already be a new epic fight mod in the dawncraft updates?
I lost my cage trap because of a bug( the cage trap became invisible and it was the third time it happened ) and since the mods is nurfed ( recipe way too hard ) I'm unable to craft another. If the fun is to make thing near impossible to get, good job you did it. I've seen 1 korock and 2 challenge dome in 1 month of game play. Stuff are too rare to be able to get some progression.
I'm going to say that from a dev pov, it's usually not good when your game requires a video explaining how to progress or what they need to do.
It usually means that the game is not communicating the path it wants the player to take through its design well enough. (now i know this IS NOT a fleshed out game but rather a modpack with a bit more limitations)
You can't assume your players will just get the dodge roll either when it's such a core part of how you design combat. When it's such a crucial part, you need to PUSH the player in this direction. Heck, Fromsoftware tells the player how to summon its horse to explore the vast world, it tells the player how to avoid and deal damage, aka rolling and hitting.
Now this is Minecraft and players just expect minecraft levels of freedom, so if you dont tell them to do something and make sure they hear you, they likely wont. And you also cant assume players to know all the mods you've put into the game because reading and researching the entire mod list should not be a prerequisite to playing the game. "Apotheosis? What the hell do I use these gems for? (Notice how I didn't even say Ars Neuveau? That's because I haven't a single clue what it is.)"
Playing the pack was often confusion, full inventory and backpack, and looking stuff up on the internet because I don't know whether the game is bugged or I just don't know enough about how it's supposed to work.
I have yet to kill one boss before I took a break from the game. Although I can't deny that's it has brought me great fun in some moments as well.
You have a vision for your modpack. I can clearly see that you aim to overhaul how Minecraft is played. Your "game," however, is a compilation of different mods made by different people inside of a game that is created quite literally so that you can explore and go wherever you like with simple progression. And although its not good to just tell them in walls and halls of text, tutorials for *fundamentals, things that you want your players to know* are good because it will decrease the information overload curve, allowing players to organically discover what they should if you care about that aspect of your game. BUT you have to make sure at least 80% players are going to see it.
Good UX is the key here, I believe. And I also believe in your passion for this project and the work you've put into it. Makes me want to help out how I can.
How do you feel about the souls series, where its basically exactly the worst things from your standpoint? I know you talked about it a little bit, but a lot of them have no 'sense' of direction without explaining anything and many videos on how to play it?
@@vividly94 i didn’t need any help in that regard. And all the videos that aims to help people aren’t FromSoft’s. They themselves are content with how the game is, having given the player most if not all they need to know about the game.
@@vividly94 I never felt the need to look something up to progress in a souls game, I don't think I can say the same at all for packs like Dawncraft and RLcraft though. It's not entirely the creator's fault since they're using a bunch of different mods from other people and the mods can be quite complex

Altho' i'm a spanish speaker so... yeah.
and make sure that you kill PILLAGERS for the dodge roll quest
because I spent hours, blood, and tears just to end up killing vindicators, and not finishing up the quest
and make sure you actually follow the map's instructions (the one that leads you to the pillager mansion), because I had a vindicator outpost nearby and thought it was it, thus making the mistake above

You know what the best part about this pack is? I’ve died so many times, it’s really hard to… but not one of those deaths was worth unfair, they were all just me making dumb mistakes or getting overzealous. This shouldn’t be a notable feature but I’ve played too many packs that go with the “difficulty is getting one shot by everything and there’s nothing you can do about it, right?” It’s super refreshing for that not to be the case.
I'm downloading these modpacks and honestly... Very good. I also have a question. Are there flying mounts, such as a dragon? True?

Think you could add the king of puppets to the modpack? its the coolest boss in Lies of P aside from maybe Laxasia the Complete.
When did you think about fixing the spawn rate for guard villager quests? There are wayyyy to little guards that give u quests, I have been in over 12 villages now and there was always no guard quest or maybe one, then the guard died bc they jump into every fight they can and I have to find a new one, the system is really broken, bc it makes it impossible to do guard quests
Just trap them somewhere or go in config file and change it i guess
you can increase the spawn rate in the config; its very hard to quantify it since its RNG, but we might increase it in the next patch
Hey are dragon lord and herobrine not in the public release yet? I can't seem to find them nor does REI indicate any spawn egg or smth for it

I've had an incredibly rough time with this modpack so far-
I am not actually getting any villager quests, aside from the main one (no waystone either for some reason)
I'm trying very hard to like it but good god i cannot for the life of me meaningfully progress in this pack.
The korok is hard to find pls let the korok in jungle forest too, every time i try to find there is none (except the korok guide)

Can you make a video for improving how Dawncraft runs on your pc? Like stuff like what java version to use and other things to use in order to optimize performance.
Are you thinking about adding Ice and fire or Iron spells and spellbooks?
iron spells and spellbooks is kind of incompatible (animations won't play); ice and fire is compatible but i feel like the combat doesn't fit well with ice and fire, you can add it manually though, as many others do :D

interesting idea, sinytra is quite new rn so we're waiting a bit until it fixes potential bugs first
The only hard things in Dawncraft for me is I can't find all the eyes, also the tower of spawner. The spawner don't breaks in the tower of spawner so it spawns mobs infinitely thus it'll crash when I stay too close for too long. Crash again if i'm still close to the tower when I logged in. Potato pc.
Gonna make a third world and try again :D
you can find the eyes from the guildmaster's instructions! as for mob spawns, it should be capped based on the total number of hostile mobs in the world, that's strange...
The guildmaster said "Follow your heart" or something like that. The second world were in old version.
hey, not sure what you plan on doing, but there are vampires and werewolves right ? pull a skyrim and let people become them, or get buffs to specialize against them instead
I find the koroks but all they do is aimlessly walk around, I cant interact with them. Is this bugged or have I missed something? Any help is welcome

Aint even gonna lie you gotta do something about big attacks destroying frames, First time i ran into a dragon.. 10 fps, wasnt even rendered yet, OR if someone happens to read this Are there any performance mods i could use that would help?
I think i broke the progression one time when i killed a strong enemy and it dropped a bow that basically oneshotted everything expect a few stronger guys
Hi, so I know nobody may read this but im so confused on how to download Dawncraft on MacOs. I’ve tried the lite version, doesn’t work and when I tried using the full version with the guide (aka deleting Danny’s expansion and Braincells mod) the blue guy with the quests doesn’t exist, along with like a map to the village,etc. I love this mod pack so much, please help me :(

I'm loving this modpack but I need some help,. I haven't been on for a while and I had placed my first three eyes in item frames. Now a few months later I go to check them out and they had all disappeared, item frames and all. I tried respawning one of the bosses to see if it would drop it again and it didnt, and I tried twice. Any tips to help me with this?

can you switch out the korok completion sfx to something more subtle? the pitched up skyrim lvl up sound is just so jarring. i know using nintendo assests is scary but i dont think the yahaha is that dangerous. or maybe get someone to just voice it

So I have epic fight downloaded for 1.18.2 with my own made mod pack, however whenever I try to use it, the attacks don’t happen and it freezes my entire game. I’ve tried to delete the epic fight mod and just play casually but it resorts to the same freeze. Is it some incompatibility with stuff such as ice and fire or is it too many mods? (I have 40 installed)
You should make a version of dawncraft that's easier to run on lower end computers?
The koroks spawn rates are kinda broken in the current version. I can't seem to find them in like 100 hours of playtime. I managed to find them only once on an older version.
