Always keep in mind beginners that pros also make mistakes, don’t allow mistakes to discourage you.
Ah, Golf as it should be played. Penalties for errant shots unlike 99% of the PGA tour courses these days where 28 under wins each week and bunkers are seen as targets. The player also get waaay to may breaks with moving balls etc
Then take them back to clubs that require better ball striking and we will see who is really that good apart from modern equipment. 2025 US Open with 43’ persimmon equivalent drivers, will see some tears.
Well they can ground their club in the bunkers here and use range finders so not exactly how golf should be played

This was when the prov1 wasn't that good.
It's not good for golf fans or players. What you wind up with is someone winning by 5 under out of all the players. You don't get to see golfers execute their skills and win...it's win by who ever has the lucky ball bounce. I see frustration in the players who are happy to miss the cut and play for another day.

These shots have nothing to do with the course, it's just them playing bad shots
When one course is notorious for having a lot of good players make a lot of bad shots it probably has something to do with the course
I'd have done better out of the rough than most of these......because I get a lot more practice at them 😁
