As a recreational player with a +23 handicap, I agree that there was a palpable satisfaction on every shot for some reason this just made me so happy to watch 😂
You are correct. It is the best game ever because it cannot be perfected. In the last 3 days I played 3 rounds chasing perfection. I could never catch it but I had a great time trying. I think this is why many young players shy away from the game. They see it on T.V. and figure it's easy, but when they actually play they realize golf is no joke. My love for playing golf spans almost 50 years now. I love when the sun comes up on a golf day and hate it when the sun goes down. It makes me feel like a 56 year old child at play.
@@paulh7589 do you have any advice on how to start?(I have no gear or experience) I’ve played ice hockey for 10+ years and I would like to give this a try.
@@Axter6 honestly, and this may sound cliche, but find a range and watch a couple vids on basic swing thoughts and just have fun and hit balls. I think as you enjoy it more and start going on the course, you will start to want to practice/play more and enjoy it more.
@@Axter6 really depends on if you want to try and get really good. Tiger started with a putter and very slowly worked his way up but for someone who’s not necessarily trying to go pro, I would start with irons (6i down to PW) and the go up to driver and putter. You hit irons the most (besides putting), so I would say those are the most important. Practicing putting sucks tho cuz it’s boring but very helpful.
I was thinking that. I could never be good enough around the greens to avoid some of these situations. They hit fine shots, just with a bit too much pace, and the ball rolls 100 feet into a hazard off the green. That's just unfair for any amateur. Not to mention the few examples of them putting from the surface and degreening it after again what looks like a fine pace.
@@acegamestv some of these greens seem too fast. There's no pace judgement skill allowed to be displayed at all, you just tap and hope you got the right line.
@@sundakhistan4000 Ya, that is so different than what I experience on the greens I play, it looks like an entirely different sport. I have to put some muscle in some of my putts. Some of these seem like if you breath on it, its going to roll 40 feet.
Feel this in my soul! Few years back I played in a tourney at my Mens Club and came in dead last… dead dead last, due mostly to one hole where ever shot kept going worse and worse. No matter what I tried I could not recover to a decent lie and makable shot. It was excruciatingly painful for me and everyone watching. Golf is indeed hard!
I've learned to appreciate Tyrell Hatton... guess it can be annoying if he's complaining about the course, but seems like he's usually just making fun of himself in a hilarious way. Either way it's pretty entertaining.
The difference is shots like these happen to PGA guys once every 10-15 rounds versus players like myself that it happens to multiple times in a single round. 😂
This is so nice to see. I was thinking how come these guys always hit great shots. Nope. Even pros shank it’s every once in a while. Or take many shots to get out of one spot. Also, it is almost criminal how short the grass is around some of those greens. It looked like those balls got a second wind after it went off the green
Hackers like us have a hard time comprehending just how difficult some of these PGA Tour courses are set up. I mean c'mon - look at those shaved fringes around the green. It's no wonder those putts went into the drink. Still, it gives us high handicappers hope, or something, to see this.
I was gonna go to the course today but it's much cheaper to watch these guys play like I will.
Their worst day is better than my best day.lol
@@davidtilley5212 just finished at the course for today, never a bad one out there. One love.
@@davidtilley5212 but also 100% lol
Pick up disc golf, it's much cheaper
@@iamgod3411 FYI you are not GOD 🤭🤭🤭 but you are a joke
The most relatable video PgaTour brings out every year. Watching them all suffer is kind of a sadistic pleasure!
It’s comforting to know it still happens even to the best of ‘em 😂
Right! 😂
As a recreational player with a +23 handicap, I agree that there was a palpable satisfaction on every shot for some reason this just made me so happy to watch 😂
That laugh after the shank is the most relatable thing in the entire video :') Sometimes you just gotta laugh it off
8:53 “Colling Morikawa” 😂😂
“This, is a disaster.” Are words that I utter at least 18 times a round.
This is why I love golf, no-one has ever or will ever perfect it.

It's like watching a pre-recording of my day on the course.
"I almost missed the face I hit that so far off the toe."
It's as if Jordan Speith is me on every tee shot.
Just read this comment literally as he said it 🤣
This is better than any golf tournament I've ever seen
I practice these shots every day looking foward to pro golf
I am around a 8 handicap at my local courses, and I think I would shoot about 120 on some of these courses.

16 handicap here, would probably shoot double par

That first putt tracer is ruthless. 😂

Tyrell almost all ways complains

Im amazed how calm these golfers are after such bad shots or bad luck. I know golfers that snap their clubs and they cant even afford new ones !
Once you have the basics of swinging golf is a 90% mental game. I’m a caddie and see great players get ruined when they can’t brush off mistakes.
😁 Thanks PGA, I've hit 90% of those shots.
Some of those greens are just diabolical
Nothing beats feherty’s “that’s a daisy dukes” 😂
Although I don't make it a habit to dwell on bad golf shots, watching the pros look like amateurs is very entertaining!
I don’t know what’s more satisfying - watching the boys have one roll back to their feet or off the green on the other side
Watching a pro chip it out of a bunker, over the green entirely into a water hazard felt nice 😂
putting to the water is legendary 🤣
Nice to know how hard it is to play golf sometimes.
Golf announcers are supremely underrated I think I love them
0:56. Ohhh, Billy Billy Billy Billy. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That looked like 6 club wind Keegan Bradley was putting in. Pretty damn accurate to get it to roll perfectly between the two bunkers though
So painful to watch.. yet, SO relatable!!
I just love the Bryson shank registering at 150 ball speed
Love this, makes me not feel as much of a fool for how bad I am at golf 😂
4:36 i thought he said something else especially with her standing there 😂😂
Thanks for the video. I feel so much better about my game seeing that this stuff happens to even the best pros...
You mean like Mickelson still trying to hit the green after 7 stokes, 5 of them from chipping distance?
What an insulting “ploop” at 0:54 🤣
This is so hard to watch. Couldn’t finish, makes me hurt to much. Still thumbs up cause you cause pain.
The most satisfying golf video I’ve ever watched ! 😂
I don't see the problem. I see these everyday I play.
Feherty: “That’s a Daisy Duke shirt?!” LOL 😂
Every shot in this video breaks my heart...
Todd’s reaction will never not be hilarious 😂
5:25 LOL Wedgeley Classic
This is like the highlights from my medal round last Saturday!!!
Lol! Were those sound effects added in later?
Man, these courses are BRUTAL
Thank you. We needed this.
The difference is shots like these happen to PGA guys once every 10-15 rounds versus players like myself that it happens to multiple times in a single round. 😂
Multiple times on the same hole, multiple holes LOL
Spieth likes a good ole rant too!!
Wesley cracks me up one of my favorites
If the shot at 1:27 would have landed on the island, would he have to swim over there and play it?
I don't really like golf. Probably why I enjoyed this video so much.
I needed to see this thank you
The single best inspiring video on the net for the average golfer … 😅😂😜😎
@5:28 - his shirt LMAO! is it really in his way? down to his drawers too LOLOL
That Wesley Bryan clip is something out of a comedy movie lol.
Just remember guys, your worst day on the golf coarse is funner then your best day in the office. Keep trucking!
Now, that's golf I can relate to!
Very encouraging 😊

If I were that good, I'd have been at Augusta earlier in the month!!
Great match, great coverig of the match perfect.
That makes me feel soo much better.
Feel happy when the pros call fore. Lol

I don’t watch golf enough to know stuff like this happens… like the guy putting up the hill and it rolls down 3 times 😂. Wow.
This video actually looks like an entire round for me.
"What was he thinking with that club" lol
Watching these makes me feel not so bad about my game
I love it!! And these are Pro Golfers!!! Sigh!!! Cuz these shots happen to me every round!!
These guys are making golf look like it’s hard.
This is so satisfying
Who is Colling Morikawa at 8.51?
What's so unusual about this. Me and my buddies play like this every time we play.
Was someone following me around all year with a camera?
This video makes me fell good
It is hard, but these courses are insanely hard. Its like putting on glass.
I’m not seeing any mistakes. This is how golf is played right ? This is what it looks like when I play.
Did Tiger ever had these kind of shots before?
These would be my "best of" video

5:58 I would celebrate that bunker shot anyway because I got it out from the bunker. The result wouldn't matter...
I'm glad we don't have lakes on Scottish courses.I would be in the drink constantly😅
Ohhh...i'm on "tourlevel"👌
That would be me every single shot lol.
No fore shout from Horshel on the 1st one is pretty blatant
