    It bugged me how you kept saying “Truley” but other than that, it’s a good video. Just.. if you’re spending this much effort in a video for something you’ve had over a year, at least get the name right.

    Great video, but why do you say the name so wrong.. is it an American thing? ... Th---ule..... you say it like Tru-ley.... so confusing.

    Thanks for the follow up to your initial review. That review helped up select the XL vs the XXL for our 2013 Pilot. Idaho to Colorado with a family of 7. No change in mileage. Getting ready to take it to Washington state. Thanks again 👍

    I had mine XXL for 3 years now and the inside locks (wheels) are getting untightened causing the Thule to move latherally from side to side. Has anyone else had this issue ?

    I literally just got the force xxl for our Honda Oddessy. Now I’m hoping I didn’t go too big. But for our camping trips as a family of 6 I thought it would make a big enough difference.

    I bought two of the Force Sport size…side by side on a Subaru Outback Wilderness. I drove 5 hours through heavy rain. Unfortunately one has a small pool of water near the front. You can tell the front top has some water white stain along the edge. I do agree regarding everything else you mentioned. I’ll just need to carry a small sponge to rid of any water accumulation. If you have any tips on how to prevent, please let me know

    Truly, haha. I have a suburu forester and seeing it on a Honda I’m going to stick with the XL. Thanks for the review!

    Wonderful real world review. I like this model, but was really wondering which size to get for my 2015 Toy/Highlander. The XL that you selected for your Pilot looks just right, & should be fine for my rig. Thanks!

    I notice many people say there's no additional wind noise with cross bar and roof box... what is your comment on this?

    • @TheBunnyBeatdown
      @TheBunnyBeatdown 5 місяців тому +1

      To me there is additional wind noise. You just recognize when it's good (everything is in place) and when it's bad (something is open/out of place). It's not like driving through strong winds. You just hear the differences in your vehicle. It's something you'll quickly get use to.

      ….It’s when you hear voices coming out of the box that you really need to be concerned 😮. I was wondering why I hadn’t seen my kitty 🐱 in a week 😢

    Did you notice anything about the locking mechanism functionality?

      Works perfectly for us; sprayed a little WD40 in mine, also sprayed a little on the inside hardware. They sell replacements on Amazon if you need.

    What crossbars do u use? Does the kind of crossbars matter with the weight limit?

    • @DiscoveringHisWay
      @DiscoveringHisWay  2 роки тому

      Each SUV WILL HAVE A WEIGHT LIMIT FOR THE ROOF! Cross bars normally are as much the problem as the vehicle and how you will be attaching them!

      I wouldn’t go bigger! You can take a measuring tape out to the car and kinda size it up to see! Thanks!

    Sorry, but in all respect I had to laugh at the conviction of design in regards to water tightness. I think we come from different climates, lol. When I first looked at them I saw a different design, one desined expecting leaks, so I purchased anticipating having to make consessions. Those litte tell tails that clue you in are the "wells" at each end and the raised channels along its lengh to raise gear above expected water levels. So after my first month, my reveiw of my model, on my car make, under my biogeoclimatic challenges is: Despite designed for some leakage I noted water accumulation was exceeding the design measures. The entire front and rear of the unit allows sufficent water and mud to penatrate and line the inner walls of the unit for a couple of inches. This indicated that the unit was recieving enough wind to pressureize it so I have drilled small holes at the low point on each trough counting on the pressure of the wind inside to exceed the small holes in water passage. I have palced all items I do not wish to get wet in plastic containers or stacked as high as possible as the center section stays quite dry if I place my poly tarp at the very front where the mud line runs. I can only attribute the difference in reviews being the climate........signed a citizen of the Pacific NW of NA, often reffered to a a temperate rain forest, who gets to dive 70 mph on the highway.
