Dave if you are booked in to fish the open, access is through the gates of the Muckleborough tank museum. Someone is normally just inside those gates to guide you to the beach car park at Kelling 👍
@@david892006 ok thanks for that, yeah I messaged Tony and entered myself and Grant, I was hoping we could use the access so that’s great, thanks for letting no..👌
Mate, species are one thing, but the banter and laughs you boys have can't be measured. Love all of the videos and thank you for the time and effort you put in to make them for us.... Happy New year mate, hopefully I'll get to fish with you and G at some point now I'm back in Great Yarmouth...👍🏻
@@GoneFishinAgain yeah fishing is one thing but memories with mates and good times are the best, yeah definitely mate if your on Facebook give me a request and we can message an arrange a meet up..👌
Happy new year dave. Look forward to next years videos. My boy and I started around July in gorleston and pop down in the camper for the weekend. So been great to see someone fishing the local marks.
@@Gsfishingexperience Unfortunately the 1.7 mile breakwater will be closed next year for repair work but there are plenty of places in the harbour you fish out of the camper
well done Dave, thanks for all the videos, but you could get more than 6 in my garden pond, like your school reports must try harder! Good luck in the match, be prepared mate the forecast is a bit wild. Happy new year to you and the lads.
@@CaisterStu1062 yeah checking the weather constantly and not looking good so we’re coming over to your pond..lol.. happy new year mate I’m sure we’ll all have a good one..👌
Funnily enough, the other day I was wondering how you did with the species hunt, but I thought it best not to ask… 😅 awkward subject lol 👍 never mind mate. You need to vary your baits a bit more… 2 rods out with 2 hook flappers on both rods and small bits of squid… you’re always gonna struggle to catch a variety of species with that approach. Need more worm baits, more scent in the water, some peeler crab. Problem with small bits of squid is the scent gets washed out after 10 mins or less. Vary the distance you cast. I had my biggest bass ever on a big herring and squid bait, lashed together with bait elastic, super smelly and oily. Big scent trail. Regardless, I always enjoy your vids Dave. Looking forward to the Comp vid 👍
@@chrisgilling543 I’ve caught some of my pb fish on two hook flapper rigs, bass and double figure smooth hounds, whole baits on pulley pennels never do to well for me, I’m looking forward to the comp it should be a good day..👌
Have a very happy new year Dave hope your match goes well just one thing why did you go all the way to Devon to catch grey mullet when you have them in Lowestoft harbour seen them and in the river I fancy round the back of birdseye where that compass thing is on the floor bet they are around there around the rocks but no one fishes for them be supprised if there weren't any at Gorleston in the river and at Aldeburgh in the river there might have a go in the summer nice o bread on the float 😊👍 have a good one
@@NigelBaxter because I’d rather go on holiday to Devon than Lowestoft..lol.. I’ve heard a few people saying mullet in the harbour but never heard of any being caught.. we used to catch them in Weymouth harbour with just a bit of bread on the hook on the surface.. also wrasse being caught of Gorleston pier.. but still prefer Devon..lol..
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Funny isn't it I only used to live 27 miles from Weymouth and used to fish in the harbour when I was a kid now I'm coming to your neck of the woods to go sea fishing was just saying the greys are around your coast if you want to target them for your spieces hunt you might get be supprised would make an interesting vidio Daves gray mullet hunt also back of Asda looks an idea place to target them 😉👍
