Narcotic Wasteland, Nocturnus AD, Morbid Angel - these are the albums that will crush end of 2017/beginning of 2018. I love Dallas voice and soloing! Good old JCM900 and cheapest Ironbird - that's death metal as fuck!
Hoping the best for Dallas. Not sure if NW is gonna work out. Would love to see him get scooped up by an established thrash band or DM band needing a replacement. Dallas is a headliner, not some 15 - 20 people a night show player. He's a legend.
I think for him being a band that's not that well known may be the right thing for him now. He can play and write his own stuff and tour from time to time but not multiple times a year
The riffs on the new NW album are unbelievably good. Pure death metal savagery. I personally don't care for the lyrical themes but it's death metal so who cares anyway lol.
we need a gear review of Narcotic Wastelands drummer! id love to see that! the new album sounds fucking great and the drums are my favorite part of the new album
You should try the Rockmaster and a good tube power amp like he showed.... I own a XXX and it's fantastic BUT I only got it to replace my Rockmaster rig after it was stolen... Now a decade later I'm doing it again, got the power amp last year, a Peavey 120/120 and the Rockmaster should be on my doorstep TODAY...

I feel like that Peavey XXX he uses can give you instant Nile tones. That amp has an insane amount of pre amp gain.
