  • The RCK9 is the most usable and practical EDC knife from Chaves Knives. Yes it's a bit thick and a little heavy but that also means it can handle anything you throw at it!
This particular one was an exclusive early run.
The newest creation from Ramon Chaves is based off of his hugely popular fixed blade knife from many years ago called the RCK9.
Now in a folding titanium frame lock knife, perfect for your everyday carry.
    Overall: 7.25"
Blade: 3.25" M390, Drop Point, Machine Satin
    Blade Thickness: 0.15"
    Handle: 4" Titanium, Stonewash
    Weight: 5oz
Pocket Clip: Tip-Up, Skull Clip + Standard Clip
    Knife Type: Folding, Manual
    Open Type: Thumb Studs
    Lock Type: Frame Lock

I like the pocket clip better without the screws going through the skull!

Chaves did this knife as a collab with Eikonic first I believe. It’s an overpriced budget knife with d2 and g10 for $90 same name. I bought it because I loved the profile and it’s good but after I immediately bought the RCK9. Out of my 3 Chaves the RCK9 gets the most pocket time. I love this knife.

Same! And yes, that Eikonic collab is way overpriced. Saw that after I shot this vid

Great video! You were 50% there with the RCK9 name; Ramon Chaves Knife/Knives and the number is based off of which model design it is. He's got anywhere from 25-100 design that have been unused or have been a fixed blade that he'll turn into a folder. This is essentially just that; Ramon Chaves Knife #9. I believe the next one we are doing next is going to be the RCK16 as a fixed blade, that should come out this year or early next year.
As far as the Spice Blue goes, we did two runs and they turned out great. Haven't heard a lot of want to do another run, but if the desire is there we can always do another small batch of 'em. Let me know!

It's taken the "title" as your favorite Chavez production knife lol. I've looked at this as well as the TAK for my first Chavez in the collection

I like bigger knives but I find that shorter knives with a lot of ‘presence’, thicker stockier knives, tickle me in the same way. The rck9 seems to be one of those.
