I just love how in every video the Prussian's are always out numbered and they always go on the attack no matter how many the enemy are. The don't seem to ask How many but Where?
The "advanced" Dreyse needle fire rifle was adopted in 1837. By the time of this battle it had been in service for 30 years. Metallic cartridges were a common thing in America by this time. It was not a matter of Prussians using "modern weapons". It was a matter of the Austrians using obsolete crap.
Amazing video! If I had to recommend a battle that's less known I'd say the battle of gqokli hill in south africa, it may be of dubious veracity but it's still a great example on the Zulu's skill in warfare, also it was basically an iron age battle set in the 19th century, can't be any cooler than that
