The most amazing part of this video is that all of the traffic on the interstate wasnt blocked by overpassholes taking "shelter" under the overpass. Normally, they freeze up like deer in headlights at the mere sight of rain, but the folks around this beautiful tornado didnt. They even had the common courtesy to pull off to the side of the road. A truly remarkable phenomenon that we are unlikely to ever see again. Oh, and the nader was pretty cool as well!
Another 10 out of 10 idea standing up and observing at least lay down to get as close to the ground as possible if you’re going to stay there you can see them towards the end of the video just standing there and walking around but I suppose if your f****ed your f****ed
Real story, I was visiting a friend (with bad timing obviously) back in 2011 in Springfield, Missouri when the EF-5 tornado struck Joplin. I was actually supposed to leave the day before to drive 13 hours home, but I made an excuse not to. We were under tornado warnings, the sky was a strange hue of green, and hail was starting to fall with odd lightning, and I said I have to go. The ENTIRE way home I was being chased by tornadoes and one actually crossed the interstate right in front of me on my way through Indianapolis. The state police shut down the interstate and made us all take shelter in a Wal-Mart that was right off the exit. It was almost just like this and it's something that I'll never forget. I hadn't seen this girl since I was 17 and we had a great weekend together. We're both married now, but because of our experiences together and the weather it's a story that I could never forget. Btw, in 2011 I was around 28 years old. She was my first true love and we still talk. She was the one that got away...mostly because of distance and we both had a son at that point.
True story about that. Couple Joplin Man does siding / wife works at a Mart deli. Deli destroyed. Man gotta tons of work. She sits at home. Their house had roof dammage. Months later b4 she returns to rebuilt deli they take a vacation to BransonMo. Timing. They visit when Branson gets HIT HARD by TORNADOS🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪
I can’t put everything down here, but a few things popped into my head towards the end when the gentleman started asking questions, if you look at scripture. Jesus was living from house to house during His ministry. He became homeless till the day He died, and Paul later on says what this man says because Paul experienced having a home and then being homeless, having a full belly, and having nothing to eat, yet none of it bothered him because he knew what the ultimate prize was. Even Job’s story is a testimony; his whole family was taken from him, and he eventually got everything and more back in the end after still trusting in God.
