That was really beautifully done, and most horrifying! Did you take influence from Celtic mythology because it seems very Celtic to me, of Faie or fairies to take the form of animals.
Hanniebones wow awesome, you should do one of the phookas when they went in shapes of black horses and gave drunks horrific Cold rides in the night before throwing them in the bog or ditch to get cold and wet and miserable. I bet with horses you could do just as an incredible job!

This is such a beautiful and chaotic masterpiece! The movement was amazing and the sounds of cracking leaves and sticks really suck you into the story. Great job! ❤️
The choice of music here is excellent. Usually, you'd expect a chase scene to have some fast-paced, dramatic track but nothing makes a scene like this more creepy than slow, somber music. Very well done!
Oh! I’ve heard of this story! My dad told it to me! I’m not sure if it’s originally from China but that’s the context in which he told it to me. Edit: well maybe not the story but the legend of how hunting stoats is bad luck
I am absolutely in love with the contrasts in this movie! The lines of the background matching the stoats movements is so satisfying. It's amazing how immersive black, white and grays can be when played right. You did a wonderful job here! You took a troupe that is commonly used (nature getting revenge on man/villain) and made it distinct and interesting using an animal not commonly used. I didn't feel like I was re-watching something I had seen multiple times before. I was concentrating on the line work and smooth movement throughout the scenes and I was left wanting more. The viewer knows exactly what is going to happen from the beginning text, but we still hold on to every line and movement playing across the scenes. The only thing I could critique immediately was that the man's nose was distracting from the situation...Although now that I think on it, the shapes could have meant to further elude on the abnormality of the person and how they and their greedy actions don't belong in this world.
This is... incredibly beautiful and scary. I love celtic mythology and this is an amazing interpretation of that! I'm definitely using this as inspiration for something in my D&D campaign, if you don't mind.
Stoats are also Brittany's emblem, they even are on our flag. Well, Ireland and Brittany are cousins so it must be linked somewhat... And your animation is incredibly good, poetic, fluid and strong.
I stopped drawing and making art midway through highschool due to some self esteem issues, but this animation makes me want to pick up were I left off. Don't know if I'm too old to do it now, but I'll give it a try.
.... Is this really from the same person who made that awesome wolf family animation? Because this was really more nightmare fuelish and dark, than I thought it would be. Really, even the man's head is animated like a skull with skin over it. Still, the art style is legit serious.
@@Hanniebones If you like gaming at all, I suggest playing it. It's not that long and has a super linear story. But either way, I meant it as a compliment. I find both grotesquely beautiful, if that makes sense. ^-^

The use of white lines makes the world look like a spiders web. Was that intentional or was it just for visual flair. Either way it's a master piece!
