I would also now add business checks! These are great for larger purchases in place of cash for those who don't take cards!
The Red Roof Inn on Ina Road is a good place to stay and not too expensive. It is 10 minutes north of downtown Tucson, and the 10 minute drive is a nice sort of let down from being at the shows all day.
I have been going for years.. you have done an impressive job of putting together a list.
One thing I always bring is zip lock bags to put purchases in if they are smaller crystals or beads especially.
Good for packing in suitcases but also if you have really expensive items you want to carry on the plane. Makes it much easier when you go through security.. they can either see through the bag or if it is wrapped easily slide item out and back in.
I bought freezer quart and freezer gallon at Tucson Walmart when I got there. (mainly for shipping.)
This was my first year going, too! Though, I'm not a business owner. I flew in and yes, I was envying people with carts. I thought I did pretty good preparing overall but the dry air definitely caught me off guard. I loved interacting with people from around the country and world. Even bought from a guy that was deaf. Oh, and if you're looking for a good breakfast place, they have a chain in town called First Watch. Wish we had them where I live.
My sinuses dry out when I go there, too. I always pack Ayr, a spray saline mist you can shoot up your nose. You can get it in any drug store. They also have a gel.
I love first watch, we had it in NC, but its not up north!

And I bring bubble wrap in my suitcase.
I also love to print out a big map of Tucson.. I zoom in and print maybe six 8.5” x 11” sections of Tucson and tape them together.. essentially a big fold out city map. Then I mark all the shows and can literally “map out” where I am going

Great video! I would recommend bringing a spray bottle for water if you’re buying rough. Also hand wipes, as lots of sellers coat their stuff in oil for protection, and your hands can get gross fast.
A lot of rough sellers have water bottles
@@KrispyKebab Dawn will cut through the oil pretty quickly. I wouldn't use anything else because some soaps with fragrances or other ingredients can leave a film/residue.
A lot of them had spray bottles for raw and everyone had hand sanitizer because of Covid! But great tips!

I love the Tucson show, you will definitely need a lot of cash. You can get amazing deals on the last days, I got a bunch of birds from Peru for $1 each 🤩

I wonder if they ever have gem shows in Wales 🏴 🤔 If they did it would be in Cardiff. They must have them in London, England but if they had them in Cardiff it would be so much easier as London never has parking. Plus I only live in the nearest town & I’m lazy 😅
Check out the Rock n Gem shows. They have them everywhere in the UK
Let your cc company know you are going and there may be some international purchases. I did this so there wouldn't be a hold put on my card from the fraud department until I called to confirm that I made the purchase

Yes! They have several shipping center to ship direct to your house from the gem show!

Most shows are open to the public; it’s only if you want to buy you’ll need a form but not sure which form for you country
I think the show is only 2,weeks, not a month
It’s a month! You can check out the calendar online! There are certain shows that go for the whole money and some for 3 weeks and some for less!
