darn - this almost fits the bill as (harness-side opening) replacement for my thinktank airport ultralight. outer the dimensions are roughly equivalent, just 1/2 lbs heavier, but unfortunately way less space to hold gear. I usually pack: body with 24-105, 70-200, 15-35, 2nd body, and either 100-500, or evolve 200 strobe plus 50, filter pouch. I doubt it would fit all in. Could another ladder piece be added after removing the top compartment lid piece?
I'm curious how this bag has way less space to hold gear than your Thinktank bag, given that it's physically larger, and made with thinner material (yet also seems way more protective than the airport ultralight). I'm not even counting the pulling-everything-out mode with just dividers like a more traditional camera bag.
@@Brandon4Weiss I haven't done an actual side-by-side comparison, but the impression I have after watching this video is that has less holding capacity due to the wedge-shaped top compartment lid piece and/or the storage ladder things. If you say the velcro-dividers are usable in all-open configuration, and long enough to be used in a vertical rather than the shown horizontal orientation, I could see it hold a similar amount of gear (and that might make this bag an option for me).
I usually really appreciate your reviews, but this one completely misses a main feature of the bag. You're using the partitioning system wrong...The top part which is a 1/3 of the bag can be expanded to take 2/3 of the bag's capacity while maintaining top access. This leaves room for a small camera cube (you guys only show the large cube option here) to be accessed from the back. Makes it hard to take this review seriously.

you need to try the pack on in your video. These shoulder straps are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO terrible. They hang way out and there's no way to adjust them properly. I've got like a 5 inch gap between the top of the bag and my shoulders. How are you supposed to use something like that sheesh
