I was here and I was so confused as to why no one was clapping when they were all still before they started screaming because I hadn’t seen the show before😂

Just incase no one knows (I'm not sure on the actual artist herself) but that section resembles an artist who used silence as art then would make random noises out of nowhere! 😅 This show is honestly brilliant on the idea of breaking the "Red Line" of art in general that's considered daring, hated, innovative or controversial. 👏🏾👏🏾

@@camilleon352 I could see that, haha. Though this came from Shane himself in an interview. Cause I know a lot were wondering about that section too.

Only Mystique could create an effect moment where cheering/ clapping would actually fuck up the vibe.

As always, up for your interpretation!
But the idea is exploring musical artists who have pushed boundaries with their music and performances through the years. Lots of references throughout-Rite of Spring causing mass panic and uproar for shaking up what ballet/orchestral pieces should look and sound like, Run DMC sampling rock music (Aerosmith) as a foundational layer for their hip hop music, NWA’s “Straight Outta Compton” pushing boundaries on censorship with their use of cursing and more mature themes to explain their own experience in the world, John Cage’s “4:33” being an entirely tacet piece that makes music of the ambient sounds of the room and audience that it’s performed for….
Just a few examples, but hopefully you can see the thematic connection of all the popular music. Hope this helps 😊

anybody know what the last selection of music is, after the second "heavy metal music is really satanic" or if that is just fully original music
