It’s a great bit of gear, that should be easy enough to find the space for, otherwise the hiking stove works well with a bit of careful usage and is as compact as it gets. What are you running?

John was running the Coleman stove, with gas bottle on the roof for a while, but went to the hiking stove, with a small pan (just big enough for a steak) and perfect for the coffee percolator.

I like the snow peak stove how’s it go in the winter when the butane cans are cold

Hey mate, I have heard that the cans struggle in the cold but haven't used it in extreme cold weather yet. Id imagine it struggle like most of the cartridge ones but usually only use it as a seconday cooking option. I do love the fire :)

This happned to me few times and thats why I don't take butane stoves anymore, and switched to propane, when its less than 5c butane becomes liquid and it will lose the pressure and stuggle to get to gas state that means you definatly cant have sustainable high BTU flame.

Why bother with the stove when you've got a pie oven in your boot? 😉
