I just have to say... Dope or Nope is killing it now. It was just a shell of itself as compared to the MM era....but now it just works! The production team's creativity is not only captivating but makes me excited to view!!
Matt reading the Cabbage Patch Kid note: “Thank you so much for your purchase. I hope you love her as much as I did as a kiddo.” Matt 5 seconds later: “Immediate F Tier”
I just hope the seller never sees this video. They would be so heartbroken, assuming the note was genuine, and not just made up by someone who flips stuff on ebay for a living.
i think it be best if Matt did not walk throw a Rainbow, like Brian did on Rainbow Brite Ep "Peril in the Pits" But it be hard to find any clean Star Sprinkles. But i think Murky will love where the 80's ended up. But i think they also miss out on the other toy that was just came out at the same time. Miss Strawberry Shortcake and her Berry Friends.
Woods should keep the black sparkly disco shirt. Honestly it looks really good on him which I never thought I would find myself saying about 70s fashion
Once they opened the mystery box it was nothing but pure joy. The only thing that I never got as a kid was the fruit loops straws because my mom didnt like buying unnecessary food items like that from the store.
I feel sorry for the Cabbage patch kid toy. Clearly the person who sold it really cared for it and hoped it would go to someone who cared for it. And they just kinda made fun of it.
Ditto! I really hope somebody that understands the value of those toys and that era ends up taking it. It’s a little biased having all men decide that decade but why was every decade toys except for the 50s? Lol
I love watching you guys.. y’all are really funny and have helped me out a lot in these difficult times for me I am battling depression and anxiety and watching you guys have helped me laugh alot more!! I love y’all videos
Just want to thank you guys.. I have severe depression and been watching dope or nope for years now as a coping mechanism and to distract from very bad thoughts . I rarely used to ever laugh out loud from videos and you guys manage to make me crack up ❤ I’m in a very dark place rn just opened UA-cam and saw a new video which always makes me happy 💓 just want to show my appreciation
Woods being the 40's entreprenor ? Just perfect. And the gameboy reminds me of the Pocket Analog which is basically "an enhanced gameboy" which can read gameboy carts.
I wanted to chime in and say I am sufficiently pleased with the addition of the fun facts. I also want to state that further videos with fun facts would also be pleasing 🤙
Hanafuda's more complicated than you made it out. You don't get anything for all 4 cards from a month. That's why the game was so quick, you're supposed to combine flowers, flags etc.
Man that iPod hit me with nostalgia HARD it is wild to think that i am old enough to remember the FIRST iPod and iPhone when they were first released i have had kids who are like 15 or so talk to me like i am some sort of guru of ancient history when i told them i remember when the first iPods and iPhones came out.
I STILL use my ipod touch til this day 😹 for the exact reason that I like to keep my music on its own, with no interruptions!!!! & I had a pink ipod nano as well, that I put a black cover over to give to my dad who proceeded to probably lose it because we still can't find it 🙈 I regret it!!
After scrolling through Dope Or Nope’s years of videos I must say right now I really love how this channel is right now. It’s gone through some rough patches and experimentations and it was totally worth it because every video is so entertaining these days…never fails to make me laugh and the guys’ banter tied with the editing is perfect. love what Dope Or Nope is doing!
You guys should make a video where you buy treasure hunting equipment and whoever can find the best treasure wins also you have to rate your product after trying to find the treasure. Also great videos as always, even though I haven’t watched this video yet.
Did you know, Hanafuda cards were made from Japan's strict gambling laws, and the loophole of those cards not having numbers, so them not counting as gambling
I'm glad to see Mr. Jake Brukham mentioned here, my spouse recommended him to Me after investing $4000 and he has really helped us financially in times of COVID -19 lockdown here in Australia 🇦🇺
I met Expert Jake Brukham last year for the first time at a conference in new york city, i invested $24,000 and traded in one month making close to $94,450, I am happy that I took the step to success by trading with Jake Brukham. Wow that was amazing! I loved it. The Dope or Nope team is definitely killing it right now with this midweek episode. I actually remember the ipod um I used 2 have one but it was just a toy and it just lit up and looked really cool in the dark.
the fact that the game boy was only a tier actually offends me. that is so much more iconic than an ipod in my opinion, its for sure better than a damn wagon flyer thing like wtf, not going to lie that mystery box was sad af, there wasn't a single thing in there that was actually fun or reminded me of the 2000's hahah
The 70s were by far the best decade to be a kid. We didn’t have video games or iPods, but we still have fun. We used are imaginations and actually went outside to play. We had the Nerf football, skate boards were popular with the invention of urethane wheels, the Big Wheel, and some of the coolest bikes ever. Nothing could beat riding Schwinn Sting Ray or Scrambler, and making ramps to jump them. And we survived without helmets and pads. Inside, we had games like Connect 4, Simon, Boggle, Hungry Hungry Hippo, and Battle Ship (actually from the late 60s, but was most popular in the 70s). We had toys like Stretch Armstrong, Evil Knievel Stunt Cycle, and Star Wars figures. We also had the Rubic Cube and Slime, the stuff in the can not the stuff you make with glue. Little kids had the Weebles and Speak and Spell. And best of all, in my opinion, there were Hot Wheels (again from the late 60s, but they didn’t really take off until the 70s).
One of ur funnier ones yet! 😂 The accents were absolutely on point, u guys legit sounded like radio and tv commercials from back in the early and mid 1900’s. And the banter and acting was on point as always! 😀
I couldn't help but notice that Woods looks like Howard Stark in his 40s outfit. I also laughed when Matt hesitated after showing the back of the iPod with all the scratches on it. Great video!
24:23 😆😂🤣 I still have my iPod Nano. It’s one of the later versions though. It’s the version right after they went from the more square edges to the rounded ones. Also it’s blue!
'' from the 40s! Some wars are ending and some wars are beginning, depend how you look at it.'' OMG woods you made me fell of my chair with this one XD!!
The movie Radio Flyer hits a little differently when you realize there wasn't 2 brothers, there was only 1 son with 2 personalities to deal with the parental abuse.
I love this idea of bringing toys from the past until present time. This should DEFINITELY have a PART II
I hope so
This is a part two, but still it would be nice to have more:D
Maybe comparing different toys from the same decade?
yeah i hope so
Swear that would be alsome
Gosh, Woods looks like he’s joining the newsies in selling papes. He actually really suits the outfit.
That outfit definitely suited him. 🤤😍

woods in these outfits is something i didn’t know i needed in my life
My uncle was actually the dad’s stunt double in radio flyer.
I love how they are reviewing toys/entertainment and then they pull out a coffee maker lol.
Who doesn’t like coffee!? 😂
Woods in his 1910s costume looks like he came of the set of Newsies. Great costumes all around.

My dad was born in the 1970's and it was really cool to find out what was popular back then. And it starts a good conversation with him
Getting these three to try to talk about history is definitely a well of entertainment value.
Tanners best character is anything elf/hippie related. Love when he does anything like that

The Radio Flyer bit 🤣
the 80's had the sony walkman...now that is nostalgia in a portable am/fm cassette player! you guys missed that game changer in portable music
Omg the pure joy when they opened the mystery box>> I love you guys💞
I literally grew up with most of those things that they reviewed and I was born in the 90’s! Excellent content and love it!
That radio flyer commercial was actually genius and more clever than most commercials these days “Powered by imagination.”
That's because that was not a commercial for a wagon, it was a trailer for a movie of the same name. Their QA team missed that.
“Boy I will end thee” killed me so hard 🤣 7:58
The movie Radio Flyer hits a little differently when you realize there wasn't 2 brothers, there was only 1 son with 2 personalities to deal with the parental abuse.
