Seven times in a row one must endure him crying "THE ONLY WINNING MOVE!". He plays some random move (Ra4), the engine still thinks it is absolutely winning. The dove's reaction: "I know the engine is saying but..." (waving reality aside). Pathetic. I'm attracted to devilment, can't think of another explanation.
12:07 I watched Hikaru’s stream and there was some context to his statement that “Levy has played fast” even though you were down on time. He mentioned repeatedly that he liked the instances where you spent time because they were on pivotal moves while easy moves were played quickly.
The thing that I’ve noticed that has changed about Levy is that his attitude towards chess is better now and he has better psychology. There was a long time there where he used to be a lot more pessimistic and low on truly believing in himself. Seeing Levy get back on his GM journey has persuaded me to start playing over the board tournaments again myself. I haven’t played over the board tournaments in years but I still play online on Lichess and I’m rated 2400s in all of the big three of bullet, blitz and rapid. I’m happy for Levy and I’m rooting for him to get that GM title. If he keeps his current good attitude I know he’ll get the title, the only way I can see him not getting it is if he falls back into that old pessimistic disbelief in himself. I see a different version of him now though and I truly believe he’s going to get there and get that GM title.
I was stuck at around 500 elo for 6 months.. So I decided to ONLY do puzzles for week straight for hours per day and now I’m almost 900 elo a week later. Puzzles are KEY.
ok ill try that but I’m at 800 elo right now so I don’t know if it will bring me to 1200 because I need to learn chess openings and basic chess theory at this level. @@MarcusLee-lm2wx every game has tactics. Tactics are so important. Learning openings is not even necessary at 1200, opening principles are important but theory is unnecessary
id say up until about 1200 or maybe even higher grinding puzzles will always boost your elo by a lot. a good amount of wins at that point are just who found the other person's blunder which is basically what puzzles are. actually, 1200 or higher is way too low. it probably slows down a bit at 1200 but up until at least 1600 most wins are still who found the other's person blunder

Enjoy the moment Levi, this was deservedly a win, and objectively a very good one, obviously. You've got this, keep going. FWIW I (and I expect most people following you) absolutely enjoyed the fact that you knew, and you knew that you knew what you were doing. That is the best part. Self-awareness. And, your enthusiasm is contagious. Also while I'm merely a low ranker and an adult improver, your continued sharing and analysis is raising and deepening my (and again I guess also lots of people following) level of chess understanding and thinking. Very grateful and very inspired/excited, really enjoyed this game. Thank you.

Nice game. Nice to see the added aggression, along with knowing like a gambler, when to walk away. Abandoning plans in search of something else is so tuff to do in a tournament.
All jokes aside this was one of the most brilliant games I’ve seen Levy play. Keep up the good work, Levy, you’re getting closer and closer to your GM title!
What's insane to me, Levy played a nearly perfect game, but his opponent still managed to keep it relatively equal throughout the middle and early end game. Props to the FM
@@radicalstanza3614 honestly for 1000 online it basically is that easy. maybe not under a month but after a few months of playing several games a day you should be able to go from under 500 to oover 1000 at least. obviously everyones brain works differently but especially if you're a kid it's really easy to grow really fast. of course you will hit a wall where you have to work a lot harder to gain (for me its between 1400 and 1500. ive been stuck here for a few months)
