Specifically.. when i stopped playing.. the genre i was just starting to explore and get into was tech/tribal house.. Ie hippE.. laurent garnier.. but over the last few yrs.. ive found barac and suciu ... which led me to dub tech house.. and most if not all the tracks you play in the video above, are all great examples of tracks that have seemingly sucked me in.. and made me interested to explore more. There's a level of sophistication to these tracks, to rise and peak.. I can comprehend your vision of wanting to expanding the horizon of this style of music.
Bro.. im 48yrs old. I haven't had turntables now, since 2003. I miss it.. And I miss it even more so, when I hear songs that resonate within me, especially so when watching someone like yourself mix live.. We didn't have youtube and streaming yet.. when i was trying to come up and break in... Its bad ass watchin you.. seeing how simple your set up is and how it gives you immediate and unlimited access to connect with others (aka an audience).. I imagine it has to be a great feeling.. I can tell just by watching you that you're passionate and totally enjoy what you're doing. Not just some meathead.. You have my attention .. for whatever it means. I will be coming back to see your offerings, on a regular basis. I really like your track selection...
I'm turning 49 this year and I had decks back in the 90s that I recently started missing so I just spent 300 last week on a Numark DJ Controller and honestly it's the best money I've spent in a long time. Get back on it mate 😀
@@DeepBass75@jrama5220, same same, 44 this year, decks in mid-late 90's. No youtube. Just carrying equipment to parties in Detroit, Toronto, etc. Amazing world now for the youngsters or those who stuck with it! Such a great channel, and wonderful music! Thanks!
I'm 40 years old and have been listening to electronic music since the late 90s. I've never had a turntable or anything like that. I was always just a consumer of everything... Greetings from (East) Germany 🙋♂️
49 year old, just got done moving and rebuilding the new deck setup. Feels so good to have it back in action... I think the key to streaming is consistency. Get back on it man, they will come.
Sending love from Portland Oregon.. REALLY good stuff.. thank you, that cirkle square song is FIRE. Are you getting these all on Bandcamp?, I would die for a copy of that hard drive.. wow.. SUCH great trax
Love the smooth, strong and yet etheric vibe at 1:26:00 from - MRLØN Medellín Never Sleeps - Reminds me of a Berlin underground techno bar I went to. What Playback speed did you use with that song? 0.85 x?
I'm a big fan, but as a visual artist the AI thumbnails are a big turn off. Common complaints aside, I also don't feel the aesthetics match the music (which is sweet as always).
