Not a day goes by without her in my claws. The weight of my emotions dissipate as I float in this empty jungle. The ever-spinning ying and yang of her joy and the fatigue that follows...
i've been listening to dnb and jungle since the late 90s and for my money, this latest generation of artists is some of the best of the entire genre, the jungle fatigue anthologies being an excellent testament to this. it feels so astonishingly rare for a genre like this to continue, one that both has forward momentum, creating new sounds and vibes, while simultaneously keeping so many of the genre standbys so as to not render it an entirely new style of music.
it's beautiful see a counter to the formulaic state, and nature of replication, that dnb seems to have found itself in, particularly liquid and techy. And that's okay, that will always happen. We are still very fortunate to have such great people keeping those stems strong. To show that the jungle heads are *adding* to the sound and growth of that sound organically, rather than diluting... I'd say it's staying pretty true to its roots, but that's me.
I'm curious as why do you feel this latest generation is some of the best of the genre. I'm a 90s kid as well, I like this mix and I'm happy that there are new producers keeping this alive, but they're not remotely doing something new... all the breaks, the sounds and the general vibe of these productions are carbon copies of stuff that was already overdone in the 90's. They're not exploring anything or making any of this better than it was already. Blindfold me and I could easily mistake any of these tracks for some (minor) Shadow Movement or Good Looking releases. Again, there's nothing wrong in this and I'm happy there's new producers still doing this, but for me the "best of the genre" were the ones that actually invented or perfected new sounds and directions...
Everyone has been the crab, lost in the music and reading every word and taking in every detail on the booklet. What a wonderful, meaningful, beautiful time it was. BRING IT ALL BACK!
I think growing up with video games and enjoying the sounds of electronic music and synths and upbeat tunes really guided me towards music like this. Im so glad i discovered jungle/drum n bass as a teenager in late 90s. The joy hasn't left.
dude i literally cannot stop listening to all the jungle fatigue mixes, it's like getting shot up with pure energy into my veins, and it makes me so much more productive, like no energy drink has made me tweak like this
This is OUTRAGEOUS, contagious and beyond audacious. I cannot believe my ears. 2023? The quality of some of this music is just off the charts. Shit hot. Absoloutely shit banging HOT.
My Bachelor thesis is due in 5 days and I'm massively behind my planned schedule. But this mix just hits the sweet spot of getting my energy and motivation up without being too distracting while writing on my paper. Now I'm hopeful that I can definitely do this 💪
So much love in 4 hours!! Some channels with 10x the subscribers would kill for that. Big Up 4AM Breaks, love from London Town ❤💚💜 // Let's keep this music alive 😎
One of the best, smoothest jungle mixes I've heard dude... first time I wanna look up each artist and find more from them instead of just listening to whatever the mix gives me and forgetting.
I tried writing something heady about the title to justify my presence here w/o knowing anything about the music but i gotta be honest what git me here was the crab
I was a bit of an EDM hipster in middle school and discovered jungle through DI FM, it instantly became one of my favorite genres! For a long time I listened to it but couldn't really talk to anyone about it, which is why it makes me happy to see jungle becoming relevant again!
best timing ever as I felt fatigued from all the work lately , perhaps this will help me. If not then at least I can be tired and feeling cool listening to awesome music.
Hey I hope you have a nice weekend.. Being tired from working and also feeling cool is a nice combination to be, .. Thanks for cheering me up with that description of your day.. happy days to you and to anyone who ever reads this

Mr. Krabs overdoses on intelligent jungle
Mr. Krabs drops acid and takes a bump of ketamine
