I bought one of the godfather Jacob and comp. Addition.
Jacob went to prison for handling stolen jewelry and under a microscope his watches are engraved with a machine instead of by hand making them cheap and overpriced. He sucks ass.

Jacob is an innovator, no question about that. Those watches are not something that I would wear even if I had the money to afford them but they are definitely art pieces.

I first found out about Jacob when i was a kid and played a videogame called Def Jam Fight For NY. I didn't think much of him, it was just a jewelry store to customize my character, and he was just another person amongst many other superstars and rappers in the game. But after so many years later i realized he's actually a legend in the jewelry/watch world, no wonder they chose him as a character in such an iconic videogame.

Actually knew him a little bit before that though because before that game came out the Jacob and CO 5 time watch his own watch zone watches versus super popular... If I was the ever to buy a Jacob anytime I definitely go for the 5 time what's on it's a classic look for me and I love it.
I played def jam also, snoop was in the game but fat joe is one of the hardest enemy to defeat.😂

You can say about Jacob Arabo what you want but he and his brand really are able to kick some as*s! I think they shouldn't have played in the 'entry level' area of luxury watches as it diluted the high end approach of the brand. I have the same opinion of Hublot who is of course a lot more mass appealing but I also think they would benefit from leaving their entry level ETA/Sellita based watches behind! Jacob said something that should literally be quoted and has applied to all of us and time. Jacob said "the impossible things just take a little bit more time". That is a great quote. Flying in a plane used to be the impossible, traveling 400 miles same day used to be the impossible but now we have cars, trucks and motorcycles. We talk on a box called a cell phone, that is sorcery lol.

Big fan or Jacob & Co and I am a long time 20 year plus collector. I got into collecting because I love watches and in particular unique shapes, high end complications, dials and materials used. If you take away all the hype and investments purposes in collecting (which I am not), then in the last few years Jacob & Co are one of the few brands that produce innovative and unique complicated watches.
