As soon as you got that red wagon, God had a plan. He said, .... that man needs a Clydesdale!! 🤣❤
It was heartwarming to see how well April took to pulling the wagon. She's a fine horse.
Not to overlook your skill as a trainer. Your mindset of building confidence at every step really pays off.
Thanks for posting.

Haha, thank you for the tip.
Hello from British Columbia Canada

The puppy is in charge!!!
Exactly 😝
You should have a swingle tree on your wagon, for the ends of the tugs. A solid tug-hitch like yours is hard on the horse's shoulders, causing the breast band to rub on her shoulders as pulls, causing friction.
you are correct this type of hitch is usually used with a racing harness and a very, very light vehicle. The horse pulls from the saddle so there's no rubbing on the chest area. But don't use this set up without a single tree.
Is there ANYTHING this gentleman cannot do? What a genius!
Wow I had no idea of these things my family is from PA & there's tons of Amish with horses pulling wagons - I never knew all these things about that - they make it look easy - I would've never known that any horse can't just hook up & go - this is why I love your channel this is a great learning experience April is exceptional & beautiful too what a sweet girl she is
Reminds me of my childhood. We use to ride a two-wheel buggy and a wagon similar to yours! The neighbors’ Welsh Pony loved to pull anything and was good for kids to learn around.
You are so blessed to have a horse like her. She is a wonderful spirit. A very good horse.
Well done April. Thanks fpr taking the time to educate us in these videos. X
We start new ones with someone leading and someone on the lines.
The best mule we went from first harness to driving in 6 hours.
You’ve got a good, light hand.
What a great horse. She just wants to please you. She trusts you and gives you her all . Good job .
I love April if I didn't live in Ausralia I would try to buy her, she is such a super star... ahhhh if only
just so you know I have binge watched nearly all your videos. I have a small farm and I really appreciate how you discuss your costs and how to make farm self sustaining something I am constantly working on
Every time I've trained any kind of horse or pony I've always driven them from the ground behind the car so they can hear me not so much so they can see me but to have somebody else in front of them
She is a Great horse and lovely lady!
A coat of paint and some padding and the buggy will be nice. April already is nice, she needs some grain after that, but I am sure you did give her a treat. Maybe you need to find a Rudolf for the wagon at this time of year!
She definitely gets a treat….and grain lol
Beautiful job April. You are a very cool horse.
Good job April with that wagon! Oh yeh and good job JR.😊
Love April ❤ I'M TOTALLY ON TEAM CART. GREAT WORK.
Not as nice as your cart! Your cart is a dream💖
Beautiful horse, smart too. ❤
Nice virtual buggy ride. Beautiful April is a gem, I think.
What a wonderful video, I would have loved a wagon like that when I was younger, I know the dogs love a good run but I’ll bet they’d like to be sitting up in that wagon with you 😂 .that was very educational, April is a lovely horse. ❤xx
April is such a beautiful horse and she did so good pulling the wagon. 😊 Whoever you sell April to will be so blessed.
Good Job JR! -ACD
Beautiful mare.
Very nice JR i THINK SHE'S got it BEAUTIFUL
Totally awesome 👍
You need a swingle tree or if you get much weight on that way again it's going to rub your horse in her shoulders check out what swingle tree is for
Thank you I didn’t think of that
Fantastic job😊❤
April did great, what s pleasant horse ❤❤❤
Just love all the videos, keep them coming!
Perfect turn with her so proud
Very nice work!👍
April is one of my favorites from your Homestead...very versatile & such a beauty (I remember her McD's drive thru adventure w/you). I can't imagine she will be up for sale for very long.
could you make a video of horse pulling wagon, with no voice over, just the sound of nature as you ride?
I hope you installed a single tree on that wagon. Thats a lot of weight to be pulling without one.
You need some lights and one of thode reflective triangles. Your fellow county residents have to get used toorganic horsepower.❤ Mighty April.
I just looked at the age of this video and I think you subsequently did sell April for the farm payment. Great video and nice job rigging up the little wagon. I'm assuming that Oliver will be too wide to fit the wagon as it is?
No I can use it
Lil dog,s not gonna wow, got to get that bone home!
Single tree will keep her or other horses comfortable! 😊
😍😍😍😍😍😍
were do you live
looks exhausting

This is a Missouri Foxtrotter. A horse breed developed in the Ozark mountains of central America
