___EXTRA TIPS___
-Keep both eyes open when shooting. It may be a little awkward at first, but its worth it. Trust me.
-Don't forget to bring food and water
-IMPORTANT: If you are fighting someone with an automatic such as an SMG or Assault Rifle, you need to hold angles more often. You CAN still peek and play somewhat aggressive at medium to long range, since most automatic guns shoot lower calibers and have a lot of recoil, so it'll be hard for them to hit shots or even do good damage.
-IMPORTANT: If outnumbered, tactically retreating or even disengaging entirely will be key to your survival. ALWAYS turn each fight into a 1v1. Ex: 3v1, get in a position where you can pick one off, then reposition.
-For the love of god, please bring smoke grenades. They are too good not to use.
(In the November wipe they changed where you can buy grenades. You can no longer buy grenades from Marek, but you can still buy them from Spectre.)

Pros:
-Low Risk, High Reward
-Cheaper than most other setups
-Ammo is cheap and effective
-Extremely high damage
-Satisfying
-Has a high chance to inflict bleeds
Cons:
-High Skill gap and ceiling
-Good positioning and situational awareness is needed to be successful
-Some snipers are loud
-Hard to use in CQB
-Need to spend extra money on a sidearm depending on which primary you choose
-Snipers are heavy, can't flick easily because of weight

Oh for sure. Before the nightforce was added, sniping was pretty tough cuz the zoom n shit but now it's so good

Here’s also a good tip(for me at least) I prob my trigger controller under the front of my headset that way it will lose tracking and stay still giving me more stable aim.
Is there bullet drop and travel time? I think I saw travel times listed on the wiki but curious what your experience is
there's no bullet drop atm as far as i know but theres def travel time. its not that noticeable under 100m but getting up to 150 and 200m ur def gonna have to lead ur shots

Do you have any tips for early game sniping? Looking at the stats the Sako should be decent but the iron sights suck compared to something like the mosin. I'm guessing you'd be better off using something like an AK74 with a side rail and whatever optic you can find?
Also great advice with the stabilizing yourself with something near you irl, I've been using my bed or sometimes even my desk chair since its quite easy to reposition and the height is adjustable.
not many tips for early game sniping. just make sure you hit those body shots and reposition. Use whatever gun you're comfortable with, i personally use the Mosin early game but it has HORRIBLE damage to the limbs. the Hunter85 is definitely good but the irons are meh. all personal preference
@@-R4ven- Body shots are a bit easier at least but when you're looking at pixels a slight shift is a complete miss haha good to know the Mosin isn't bad early game though. I had a proper go with the Sako and it still ain't great to aim with but I'm finding it's a bit easier if you hold the gun a bit more forward so your headset doesn't lose tracking. Definitely need something to stabilize on.
On long range shots do you have to lead your shot in front dog someone moving and is bullet drop a thing or all weapons hit scan
On long range shots you do need to lead them, but all guns start having their own bullet drop after 200 meters. Using an awm or a Barrett, you can use it like it's hitscan up to about 100 meters, then bullet travel time will be noticeable

I really want to get into sniping, but there arent that many options. What are some good early wipe DMRs and Snipers?
Hey there! Unfortunately there aren't that many good DMR's or sniper rifles early wipe, you get the good ones starting at level 3 spectre. What i can recommend for now is the Mosin and the SKS, the Mosin is unlocked at level 2 spectre (Maybe lvl 1) and the SKS is unlocked by default (level 1 spectre). At level 3 spectre, i recommend the AWM and the OPSKS. Hope it helps!

Virtual gun stock works great in tabor
First you say that you should reposition after every shot with the bolt action rifle, then at 2:04 you fire 3 shots without moving an inch, so which one is it lol?
Mainly want to reposition when noticed, if they have no idea where you are then you could do either

Hey bro, can you post a tutorial of how to make your gunstock from pvc. I’m trying to get a gunstock and I much rather make my own.

Im starting to think about sniping but i wanna ask if i should use the regular black sniper sight or the tan looking one
personal preference - you can use both completely fine, but the tan one has a higher zoom level and you can put sights on top of it like the kobra and the okp7. the black one is a good cheap option but ultimately i'd say the tan scope is the way to go

i use a stock i made myself from pvc pipe and duct tape. i suggest trying to build one if you can, but im taking a look at both the Wield ONESTOCK and the Tabor RAIDR gunstock. ill put the links here:

So far i think ill eventually be buying the OneStock from WieldVR probably soon. Remember - you don't need a good gunstock to play tabor. i suggest trying to build a custom one from pvc to get it to your liking, THEN go buy a gunstock that has what you're looking for. hope it helps
I have a question. With a real life stock. How can you crab you're holstered pistol?
Ideally you'd want a sling on your gunstock so you can quickly drop it and grab your pistol

i cant put a suppressor on the AWM?
you can, the SMG and LMG suppressors look very similar to each other and the Bolt Action suppressor.

I do realise that sniping is a viable play style which can get a lot of loot but, is it really fun for the other player where you just drop dead from 200 meters away at a guy that you didn't see? In my opinion going in with mediocre gear and hunting down players is much more fun for the people getting killed and you.
I have 50minutes in this game but i feel like I should refund it, it's just too much of a time investment and knowledge checks to get good at and I know I'll just keep running out of money and all the quests are "Kill players" so I just feel like I'm too behind. You big dogs enjoy the game though, looks good.
yeah its one of those games that you pretty much HAVE to invest at least 20-30 hours to get a hang for the game and figure out what the good strats are and whatnot

Sniping is so difficult without good controllers you can't have the controller close to the headset without losing tracking so not very stable
Yeah, tracking will definitely be an issue when sniping. Some controllers might just be better than others :/
