Currently on vacation from the UK to St petersburg, any locations for some small sharks or snook using cutback and live bait, usually get some but this year we seem to be struggling to find the fish, have lost a couple of big tarpon and caught a few bonnetheads but still no snook or red fish, not many lady fish or jacks around either, maybe because of red tide?

Yes, they’re still out there, just more scattered than early summer

Yes, they leave the beach to head inshore for the most part
I love summer snook fishing i fish the same beach as you the only thing that is better is spring redfish and fall red fish
Spring and fall redfish are great too, my heart stays with the beach snook though haha
