I learned to make a pair cpl months ago. I hated puckering, and did my best with it. Didn't get to finish them with those elders but I finished em after I left from there. Now I'm wearing my moccasins proud.
i made elf slippers and then regular slippers out of an old jacket. now going to make some moccasins out of duck fabric for my 1,5 yr old as he outgrew the slippers. his huge winter boots make him walk funny so he will have more fun outside in the -30C snow.
Thank you for a great video , you make a wonderful instructor. I want to make a pair of winter mukluks using a 9mm felt liner, would I construct the pattern the same way and make it slightly bigger to allow for the liner ? Thank you so much , peace...
Thank you for this video. I’ve made a pair of moccasins a while back while at a workshop so I always wanted to make another . This was so helpful . Question , is the heel always 1” by 1” is is it half the width ? My sons foot is 41/2” in width so should I make the heel a bit wider ?
Yoo my guy did you just yawn at the 3:14 to 3:16 mark?!, thanks for making me yawn just by thinking about it! 🤬 but ye we should totally collab sometime 👍
Thank you for making moccasins so simple to make. You’re the best.

Great work! What are the measurements for the white strip?
He measured the outside edge of the yellow piece and added an inch, I believe he said 14 inches. Hope that helps.
Thanks for your contributions, might you indulge us in your choice of tunes in the first bit of the video?

hi would the bead work already be on the vamp before you tack it to the sole?
Yes!! Do the beading on the vamp before you start sewing everything together.

If making this for a child, how wide is the heel supposed to be?
You have to measure the child’s foot, all feet grow differently
