Sharing some feedback: I had an issue with my BioChef bought from Discount Juicers. John indeed responded to all my emails, and BioChef honored their warranty and sent a new unit. John walks the talk. A lot of walking, lol, but I enjoy all the detailed info..
@@Patrick-rd5vh if you juice more leafy vegetables than fruits the Sana. If you juice more fruits like apples, grapes, pineapples the Kuvings is more efficient because those tend to back up on the Sana or any horizontal juicer. Bulk juicing I use the Kuvings.
I think the Kuvings is coming out with a hopper style in 2024. They told me to stay tuned on their fb page. Sounds like it to me when I asked why they didn’t have a hopper style juicer
If you juice celery only, it looks like they are tied. if you juice celery with other items like apples, oranges, carrots, etc, definitely Kuvings is a winner!! Thanks John!
I'm surprised, I have both juicers, I saw very little pulp from the Kuvings when straining. I will have to check again tomorrow. You must have better taste buds than mine because I couldn't notice any difference between the two 😃😃
Yes the Kuvings Revo830 is much faster than the Sana 727. Cleaning it hasn't been that bad either. I use my Sana for leafy green or vegetable juices & the Kuvings more so for fruit juices. I haven't had any issues with too much pulp in the Kuvings. 👍🏾
Was wondering if you could do a just fruit juice comparison between the two. Since Sana tasted better with celery does that mean the same for fruit juice.
When juicing fruits, the REVO830 would perform better, as the Sana 727 will make more pulp in the juice and it may have issues with clogging since it wont handle softer produce as well.
Wouldn’t vacuum blender be better than juicer for celery? I thought vacuum blending is best to keep the nutrients? Could you please help to understand? Thank you so much!!!
YES. Vacuum blending makes a higher yield than these juicers, and IMO a higher quality juice. That being said, not everyone wants to go thru the process of vacuum juicing, and some items are not easily vacuum juiced. So many prefer to use a traditional juicer. See ua-cam.com/video/eEPQ8tuPQV4/v-deo.html to learn about vacuum juicing.
Crazy! Sana has just launched the Sana 848 model a copy of Hurom H101 and Hurom DIVA S. Let's wait and see how the comparison will be between Sana 848, and Sana 727 model. I think like the Hurom H101 Sana 848 will be defeated by Sana 727.
Omega promised to send me these models in March 2022. But still has not send them. So that alone is not a good sign. Maybe they dont want me to test them?? I am not sure. In any case, both those models are made in China. Both the juicers in this episode are made in S. Korea. I have seen much higher quality juicers come out of S. Korea than China. The MM400 is a ""low end model" so I expect the REVO and Sana 727 to beat it. That being said, the MM1500 is the NC1000 with a special "celery knob" to get a higher yield on celery. I did test the NC1000, against the sana, you can see the review at ua-cam.com/video/o6Eu8m7LCbk/v-deo.html
You do a great job of trying to be objective. For the taste test, in order to stay neutral you might want to cut the two sets of celery in half, and swap the halves.
I started with 3 heads of celery, and took one STALK working my way from the outside to the inside and put one in the Sana bowl and one in the Kuvings Bowl. I am not sure how I could be more fair than that.
While I may be bias, I strive to share my honest opinions in these videos. I have also had MANY customer customers comment on how the SANA 727 juice just tastes "better" as well.
It’s information that is good for us to know. You can skip to the part you find more interesting if you look below the video. It is divided into topic parts. At least it is on my page. I would think being so detailed helps make his decision on a juicer so ppl can understand why and not make the judgement that he is bias.

I don’t think Kuvings revo 830 does well with greens like spinach/kale or wheatgrass
Wonder how the revo830 compares to the new Sana 868
Nice inclusion of cleaning comparison. Its part of the overall time to reset the machine so is a key factor. 👍

Those left over strings of celery are long, I'm surprised it didn't clog up the juicer.

depends on what the juicer is, and how the damage occurred. Please contact the manufacturer of the juicer for warranty service

Hey John, when is Kurvings going to come out with their new vacuum blender you told us about? Also great vid 👌

Was one juice more gritty than the other in mouth feel?
No. Generally Celery does not produce "grit" in the juice, but produce like carrots and apples do.
