Even my Dad had no idea .She lied to him and cried and said "We just can`t making ends meet and you need to earn more money" He worked three jobs and I never saw him look rested ever.He died at 67 and she died at 85 what a crime that she never got the help that she needed .She had a small excuse in that her Mother died in a TB camp when she was 7 and was shipped around to various family members her whole life and even cleaned houses in Beverly Hills while in High School.

I want to be that kind of parents. I remeber when i was in middle school and there's a trip that my parents can't afford. The way my dad handle it was through threat. He said "the trip is not important, you're going to just play and tired all day, I'll talk to your school about it, and if you still insist go find the money yourself", instead of telling the truth that he doesn't have the money. I didn't go and hold the tears when I see my classmates excitedly talk about the trip. Growing up I always wish what if my parents done it differently back then, that they show their efforts just like the one in the video. If they say it honestly, i would try my best to understand, even willingly give up the trip with an ease in heart. Now I know what kind of parents I want to become. I would take the full responsibility for having children of my own.

I think she was worried about a school trip in this show’s scene though, and since there’s virtually no ceiling on the amount of optional expenses a child or teen could want/ask for, it isn’t necessarily illogical for them to consider the realism of their parents’ finances in asking for money for optional things (especially as a teen). Both her and Axl are right in some way, though, because her specific reaction of guilt-especially over something that she wasn’t aware of-is a bit intense/high; having consideration doesn’t mean she needs to beat herself up over it from one scene to the next.
