Beautiful and gorgeous car I just bought my 2021 ES 350 FSPORT BLACKINE LAST WEEK ❤💙I LOVE MY CAR BEEN MY DREAM FOR A FEW YEARS ITS A TRUE BLESSING TO OWN ONE NOW THANK U FOR SHOWING
Lexus planners just don't seem to get the details just right. First off, I just don't understand why they didn't keep building on the 2013 GS/ 2014 IS, both of which were very well-received upon their debut. But with Europeans cranking out better 5-Series and E-Classes in the succeeding years ensured that the GS would fade further into the background and the refreshed IS is a cruel joke from Lexus, what with the new TLX, refreshed G70, A4, C-Class, and the obvious class benchmark, 3-Series constantly evolving. All of which brings me to this ES. This car will do well for the Lexus faithful. The concern is that it's "just a car". The ES used to have the quality and refinement corner mostly to itself, but that is common these days. Then small things drive me crazy with the ES. How does a $28k Camry XSE have LED turn signals f/r but this luxury car does not(as standard equip)? The Avalon even offers dynamic LED turn signals! I dunno, Lexus just seems to be getting further and further away from what made them special.
Excellent video as always, gents. I would have to keep that G-force meter turned off if I got this car or I'd have trouble keeping my eyes on the road. Nice to hear that touchscreen is coming for the infotainment system. I feel like some luxury cars have such complex controls for their infotainment system that it feels like you have to beat 10 levels of Pac-man just to change the radio station. Keep up the great work!
Great review! The FSport trim is beautiful, the wheel design looks really good too. Always catches my eye when I see one on the road. Drove an older ES, insanely smooth and quiet. The ES250 will offer AWD but hopefully that carries over to the 350 model. Definitely needs touchscreen capability.
@@sukhmanmarwah7620 infotainment isn't enough to cancel out all the great attributes of the ES..I use it, it isn't as bad as it seems you can get used to it
Great review as always C.C. ! Definitely not your grandparents Es350. A really fun sporty sedan that is super reliable and comfortable. RIP GS series. Maybe ya'll can do a final GS F review...you know for scientific purposes....
I drove a 2020 Lexus ES and GS. The GS drives much more nicer and feels more like a luxury car. The ES is nice for sure because it is more updated, but it drives what I assume like a toyota would drive like. Interior and Exterior wise, they are both good looking, but the biggest difference is the drive train and how it feels.
The GS is such an under-appreciated car. The car drives and handles so well. I remember when it first came out and for the first time, it was not any of the Germans that had the best handling. It was this and the new 2014 Cadillac CTS. I just don't understand why Lexus didn't continue to develop it. The GS has never sold in huge numbers like the 5 and E, but Lexus offered it since 1993 by simply being different.
A year late to the party but a great review nonetheless. I particularly liked the mentions of the alternative options and trim levels and the use of the coupon bundle for size comparisons. You explained things far better than even the brochure could. Thanks from a prospective used buyer. Ive excluded the 2019 based on what ive seen here.
I got a 2015 Avalon and added D3 Tune … Lotus uses the same engine ( supercharged) on Evora . But just that tune alone.. beats the Lexus F Sports .. and I saved $$$ . Best investment
@@mattX5 some people are jealous that European cars are most unreliable and many Europeans like lexus for two big reasons. Reliable and comfortable. Very easy and cheap to maintain. We have a 2015 ES made in Japan. I test drove a brand new one the other day (Made in America) and I could tell the quality wasn’t there. Pretty car though.
why do car critics keep on insisting on touch screen infotainment....?? so much exclusive to use a knob..you don't get the screen filled with fingertips... plus it's more hygenic!! you just tell it what to do otherwise you do it yourself.. I dont get it...
Honestly I agree. If you have to lean forward to control the touch but you can just lean back in your seat and control with the pad which one is truly better lmao
Hey car Confections. Just curious as to why you didn’t give the Es v6 a higher smiling score given the fact that you gave a very high smiling score to the Camry TRD?
The ES is hands down the best everyday driver that money can buy and it doesn’t hurt that they’re famous for lasting 15+ yrs and 300+k miles with very little repairs, if any.
@@CarConfections Hi good morning. Oh wow so is the 2022 model a complete redesign? I was contemplating getting into a 2021 ES 350 lease next month. Maybe wait?
I own a acura and looking to purchase this Lexus. The direct injection and port injection of the Lexus IS why I am going to trade my Acura in. The Acura tlx is a great vehicle but the direct injection and carbon build up compared to the reliability of the Lexus is the reason I would choose the Lexus over Acura
I’m so sad that the GS is being discontinued. I want one someday, for that RWD V6. The ES is just an upmarket Camry. I’ll always love Toyota/Lexus though.
I just bought a used 2016 GS350 F-Sport (white exterior, red interior) a couple months ago with 41k miles for $28k in really good condition & it's been amazing so far. It has the original window sticker & was $58k when it was new.
Lease turn-in GS F-Sports are an amazing value! The initial depreciation has been factored in, and with the GS, the quality, reliability, performance, and resale will be there.
New but unfortunate news for the 2021 ES AWD will be offered on the ES250 but unfortunately it’s going to use the same drivetrain as the Camry AWD. So unfortunately the Es won’t offer a v6 AWD. 😞🤦♂️

Lexus are extra ordinary superior cars. Reliable and comfortable
Non can come close
Then why do other carmakers continue to build their products if no other car can come close to Lexus perfection?
If Lexus is “superior”, how come Mercedes and BMW both outsell Lexus in the US market AND worldwide?
