A little studio vlog about my watercolor process but also about what my life (as an artist) has been in 2023 without UA-cam. How I film for Patreon, a bit about my inspirations, a bit about life workshops, a bit about the latest gallery visit, a bit about family life.

Hello. You just came up on my youtube while I was searching watercolour and Ink portraits. I left my computer running and it just kept bringing up more of your feeds. I think that is a good sign for your channel. Im new to water colour and know nothing really about it. Im mostly a colour pencil artist so this medium is completely different. You have helped me a lot and I want to thank you for sticking with your channel and your passion. I am a partly retired tattoo artist and I feel your pain in this art industry. Ive been a tattoo artist for thirty six years and it hurts my hands and neck now so Im scaling it down these days. Ive gone more to learning other mediums and trying to sell at galleries as well as gift shops. Im to scared to do my own youtube videos so I do respect the hours of hard work and dedication you put into your channel both on camera and off. You have been very honest about the reality of having a channel, the true struggle and im sure these people that have left horrible comments have never had a channel and have no idea of the commitment it takes. Your work is beautiful, soft and inspiring. I do hope you keep your dream alive. I wish you all the best.
I really enjoyed your Vlog Jane. I had to take a break from all social media this last year myself. I was feeling so overwhelmed (like a hamster on a wheel) so I 100% relate. I did recently start back up with YT and am rethinking when, what and how I will share in the future. You've given me some food for thought. Your videos are always a big inspiration. I appreciate your honesty and authenticity. Hopefully the expansion of your studio space translates to even more success! Thank you for taking time to share a little slice of your artist life with us.
So nice to see you back on youtube! And so nice to see your business expand as well! I much prefer long-form content over shorts/reels, and as an artist myself, I find them so much more helpful and motivating. These kinds of videos are the perfect companion to my own studio practice. thank you for sharing your thoughts and your art
I feel the same way, I view reels as a nice way to quickly introduce your process and on yt build that relationship more closely.
Welcome back! I loooooove your art, please keep on creating videos, wonderful artist!
I love love seeing you and your voice is so soothing and it's always good to see your new artworks and process.
Makes me want to experiment and create something new as well.
Much love!💕💕
Welcome back. I think when people battle and show their most genuine side, it touches the hearts of viewers. People are inspired on so many levels by people like you in these difficult times. I am so glad you are back and look forward to your videos. Keep happy, keep safe, and bless you and your family 😘
Thank youuu so much!

❤Thank you❤ i Love your amazing work
I found your video super inspiring, it just gave me motivation to grab a brush and paint, and just dare to try new things, and maybe even develop a side-art business! I love to have the privilege to see bits and pieces of your artistic journey, and it does not matter at all if it's only every 6 months or less. Just share whatever inspires you, we will be there!
Many thanks for your appreciation :)

SO happy that you are coming back, and for sharing with us what we can expect. I love the behind the scenes aspects in addition to watching you paint. You are brave to share what’s not going well, and struggles that we all have in one way or another. I will be watching as always.

🥰🥰
Krasne a uprimne ❤
❤️❤️😘
Hey! I just discovered your channel and I wanted to stop by in comments abd appreciate your good work. I love your way of narration and your beautiful voice. I don't mean to simp or anything but listening to lot of artist ladies who are all excited and shrill, I almost cried when I heard your voice for the first time. I know you get a lot of compliments for your arts and deservedly so, I just wanted to add what I appreciated the most...keep up the good work👍
I'm glad if it works, the voice of a person isn't something you can plan or change but hopefully the videos are somewhat comprehensible :)
@@JaneBeataAs opposed to performance arts where the artists get to see the effect of their craft live, drawing did not give that opportunity to the artists for the larger part of the history. As you said in your video, you tube allows artists to present something directly to the fans and students. For any artist, getting busy with the real projects is the target but this little window allows us to get an idea of the artist's lifestyle and personality and allows the artist to be in touch with their admirers. I used to keep my hobby to myself, but ever since I have started sharing my works through social media, I get so many messages from old friends. It's funny how a hobby I picked up as a loner is making me more social...
Also I want to thank you for being a huge inspiration for me. I myself am a self taught artist and I always believe that without formal tutoring, you cannot overcome the glass ceiling of your own limitations. I still remember being so upset because I had to choose between an Art college entrance and University entrance exam because they were announced on the same day. Needless to say I went to University because I was afraid of hurting my parents. It's been eight years since and now I am passed out and do a normal job. I came across your channel and some other self taught artists who changed my perception and I have started drawing again. So thank you very much...
congratulations! I love your artwork and I can see it did evolve to be even more beautiful. I'm thinking about joining your patreon, I will see how my time is. YOu have a great camera presense, and I enjoyed seeing your new studio, and am so proud of you as a watercolor artist for achieving this.
Thank you!
I missed your cozy videos! (Literally, unfortunately, youtube does a shit job of showing them to me even thow I have the bell on) Looks like you had big changes last year, no wonder you fell overworked! All the best to you!
Well, UA-cam does what it needs to do in order to survive, as we all :) So I'll do my best to provide better content in the future!
looooveeeee itttt YOUREE AMAZING!
❤️
I love your style of art and wish could be there to join your class, but I am live so long away from, so Hello to you from Taiwan.
