nice build and modifications. I would drill a finger hole or a hand hold to safely drop down the back rest.
That is a great idea. I need to do that.
Lovely chairs - great job!
How is the wood and stain holding up after one year? We bought lumber today to build 2 chaises.
(My dad would mix the sawdust and wood glue together and then fill any holes so that the stain would look uniform - it always worked well).
Very nice Mr. G! You did an incredible job!!! 👍))
@Eneida Hyles 🙂 Sounds great, thnx for the tip!
What were the 1x2’s used for on the lumber list? My stores don’t have cedar in that size, so wondering if I sub pine for that would it be noticeable or not (plan to use cedar as you did). Thanks!
Nice
These are fantastic! Thanks for doing this video. Other than the modifications you made, how accurate was the cut list?
The cut list was really accurate on these. I didn’t adjust anything at all besides the modifications.
Does the lumber list make a pair or just one chair?
I love this design. thank you for posting. where did you buy the cushion for the lounger?
We got them from the Pottery Barn outlet :).
What size deck screws did you use? Looks like 2 1/2” from the video
I used 2 1/2 inch on the legs assembly pieces. I used 2 inch on any location that might get close going thru.

.
$340 = budget? More money than sense.
Um - price out chairs you can buy!
