Something that came to my mind as a variation is that you could make holes in the plywood and insert the pipes instead, but use fewer pipes and space them out more so that you can cover each pipe with a pool noodle (if it's not possible to insert the pipe in the noodle, the noodle could be cut down its length and just pushed over the pipe). This would make this lounge chair so much more comfy. 😊
I love to free-hand draw too. I use my remarkable tablet but that in my hand, drawing is really fun. I love the contrast of colours as well. I like to do that with stuff. Just brings more happiness. I never thought about pipes before. Very, very much like this video and this idea. Cheers!
Maybe you could employ a few connectors on the pvc pipes so several chairs can snap together and become big couch. Also maybe there's a design idea where you have larger diameter pvc pipes in the base with sealed end caps so the whole chair floats in the pool
wow, great design ! I was looking for something like that to my sauna - so there are some nice relax benches inside.. but if I have time to do it I'd go with rolling pins instead of PVC pipes. thanks !
Beautiful job but all I can think of is how many bugs would use the pipes for a place to nest. This would definitely be a problem in the southern states.
Great project, and I love the shape! I was wondering if you could use cheap pool noodles, over or attached on top somehow, to the PVC as a cushion? Maybe cut in half and attached with a strong glue? And they'd be water proof! Anyhow, thanks for another great project idea!
I used to think that too but out here in the desert I have spray painted furniture that is holding up great after 2 years of being outside. it def ages but even after pressure washing its still fine.
Hahaha you made me laugh... I think he looks cute. He looks young. I'm in my mid 70s and that's how my hair gets outside in the wind. Lol... Youth looks good anyway 😍
Good Morning Mr B.T. If you only knew how much I giggled throughout the day yesterday. It's those cute "Flashback" thoughts that strike our funny bone 😁 Later in the evening I saw myself in the mirror and my hair was standing up, I had just been outside. I literally burst out laughing remembering your comment 🤣 God bless you! Enjoy your upcoming weekend.
How low tolerance PVC has to stress i’ve been building air cannons that lunch golf balls tennis balls whatever you want to put in them the canister that holds the air pressure is PVC I’ve been doing this for 10 years now out of the thousands that I’ve made Ive not had one person contact me back saying that the tank exploded or anything broke for that matter and it’s all out of PVC. holding pressures up to 250 psi I’ve had one holding pressure four weeks before I finally let it go and if that kind of pressure it will put a golf ball completely through a car launching a golf ball close to 1000 yards where have you got your experience on PVC from because DWV can handle way more than the rated 40 psi at least quadruple. Unless you’re 4-600 pound individual it will last a normal person their lifetime💪🏼
its actually quite strong at short lengths like this but lets make a bet! $100 to a good cause that it can hold 400lbs center loaded! I can do an live broadcast of testing it
Ahhh something nice and comfy for the wifey❤ thanks for the idea bro 🙏🏽

good idea! I used pool noodles for a sofa project before and they are cost effective and hold shape well when placed around a pipe
OMG I just had the same idea! :) I like your idea of how to attach them too!
I kept thinking the same thing bc the PVC seems like it would be hard on the back. But I LOVE the finished product!!!

“Pool fruniture” It always cracks me up when I hear you say fruniture. :D
Perfect Fla colors and grand design on the cheap. Nice work.

Don't have a pool, but this would still be super cool for a regular lounge out back! Awesome work, as always!
Maybe one day!
Love this design and how you used color 👌
Exactly what I needed for my pool project
Would be cool if you could figure out how to get each tube section to contour to your body shape. Maybe spring load them somehow.
Do you mean sideways?
Pool noodles!
Wow! You made it look so simple. What a great idea 💡! This is marvelous great job. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️!

This is FIRE
Nice video. Cool design for a lounge chair. Nice use of materials and tools. Mahalo for sharing! : )
Looks great and original
Well done Ben
This is genius!
Very cool, love the color choice.
This was brilliant thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Question, how do you keep little critters from nesting in there?
Damn! I wish I could work that fast!
How about making holes in the ply boards and slide that pvc pipes into the holes. Might work? Look sharp also.
Very good
1/4 vinyl plugs to fill the pvc holes
Love this. But we're looking for new pool furniture for Palm Springs weather and spray paint ain't gonna cut it..
PVC gets pretty hot in the sun, so don't forget your beach towel!
yeah lighter colors are def the way to go!
Can I substitute the PVC with bamboo pieces?
Beautiful job but all I can think of is how many bugs would use the pipes for a place to nest. This would definitely be a problem in the southern states.
for sure! but the pipes are short enough its easy to spray it out.
Hmmmm, here thinking, maybe something like cork or heavy tape to close the opening 🤔
Good
Make it float!

What screws to use on 2x4?
great job! I did exactly as you taught in the video and it was beautiful!
Krylon is my go to. The other brand always wrinkles on me.
Mine too!
Spider holes!
Was thinking wasps.
could always get some PVC caps
@@OngoGablogian487 End-caps for sure. But also caps for the screw access holes.
pressure washer!
nice... but water will destroy base pretty quick...
Water damage is my concern as well. I feel like there should be some sort of water sealing. Am I missing something?

Showed this to my wife and she liked it, but wants a more upright sitting position. Guess how I'm spending my next shopdays now.

Sure
I think it get uncomfortable for half an hour use.
You make some very creative stuff, but get yourself some dang workbenches lol. All that crawling around on the ground makes my back hurt
lol maybe in the new shop
So this is what Dan Bilzerian looks like when he's off steroids
Nice Ukraine themed project 🇺🇦
oh yeah!
Слава Україні!):D
I'm just saying, a pool chair made out of pool noodles...
I have actually been thinking about that! its a great idea!
Yay! And a yummy 😋 "noodle" salad loaded with walnuts, pecans, raisins and tangerines while basking in the Sunshine 🌞
its funny i feel like this guy just started recording right when he woke up, messy hair and all.
really nice projects though.
Hahaha you made me laugh...

accurate!
thanks!

Not longstanding... No middle support, and the builder seems to not understand his materials. Especially how low of a tolerance PVC has to stress.

lol if you're not featured on the tv series My 600lb Life this should be more than enough to support you.
