DO you have any advice for installing a wireless controller to replace a ACC-99D 2 wire system? Our property is quite large so I understand why they installed that but I really want ot upgrade to app type technology.
Sorry for the late response James. If we have a location near you, please contact them for assistance. They should also be able to refer you to a qualified contractor if you need one. store.ewingirrigation.com/locations/

Over-current likely means the controller has gone into self-protect mode. This is often caused by faulty wires. The controller manufacturer should have a support line that you can call for troubleshooting steps. If you have a Ewing location near you, you can also contact them for advice. All of the major manufactures offer some form of remote operation for their 2-wire controllers. This typically involves WiFi, radio or cellular connections as well as proprietary software. It's doubtful that you will be able to use a third party WiFi control box to manage the controller. @@ewingoutdoorsupply Just found out that the two wires are to a conversion Index valve. is there a way to use it with a new wifi box or do I have to convert the system by installing separate valves?
I think you may be confusing a two-wire irrigation system with a conventionally wired system. In regards to your question though, Indexing valves are not suited for smart irrigation technologies since zones cannot be timed individually. If you want the ability to program and control your irrigation remotely through a computer or mobile device, you will want to retrofit your system to individual electronic valves for each zone and install a smart controller that has the features you are looking for. Here are a links to videos for a couple of controller options. ua-cam.com/video/AAk-LzYwBdQ/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/kSLPxnd2U-w/v-deo.html
