Was knocked out in a classic fight with the great Black fighter of those times Sam Langford who declared Hague was the hardest puncher he ever faced and who had him on the floor at one stage of the bout.
My grandfather watch Langford train for the fight. I may be wrong but think it was at the national sporting club in London. To put the great man on his arse says alot about Hagues power.
